The plan was to have six people playing it but perhaps three people could work as well. I'll Randomize out the territories to you guys now, IamTheKings requested red so that colour is picked. Choose a colour you want (this is not related to the territories, they have different colours so that it would be easier to differ the territories.) Edit : I gave you brown as a colour, you may change if you want to. I gave MBGrimm pink as a colour, you may also change if you want to. [b]Spring, 1910.[/b] It was only a matter of time before something would happen, there had been rumors that the leaders of the three great kingdoms in Europe, IamTehKings, MBGrimm and tyanet were arming their people for the ineviatble. The mood were at an all time high, the glorious soldiers of every kingdom had songs written in their names, every day the radio proclaimed that their nation was in fact the greatest nation of them all in the whole wide world, and soon enough, the sparks would surely ignite the people of europe to take their words into action. Countries were torn apart as the political agendas rallied behind the leaders of three respective parties, each with their own goals set up. Rifles were now replacing words, and the first aggressions were soon to begin... [img_thumb]http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/1830/spring1910.png[/img_thumb] Below is what territories you were given, send me orders on where you want things to be built, where you want to move with your newly placed soldiers (you can move through enemy territory IF there are no forces within the territory, be warned however that IF your enemy places forces within a territory you wish to move through, then I will count that as an attack. So be sure to write in your orders as precise as possible and with alternative plans. I also want you to tell me what technology you want researched, this one will go in effect this turn so take that into account when you write in your orders. Remember that you can not move between territories that have water between them UNLESS you have a boat in the water territory near the black lines. Good luck, and don't hesitate to hit me up with a PM if you have questions. I would also be very happy if someone could write a reply beneath this message (and in the future) so that I may reply with an update. Didn't Something Awful have a game of Allies & Axis on the forum or something? Did that influence this at all?

Mark II tanks were never deployed and were only used for training. Would be better as a MKIV, the more common of the Marks. [editline]05:31AM[/editline] I don't think that map is very accurate either.

[editline]05:31AM[/editline] I don't think that map is very accurate either.[/QUOTE] The map is grossly inaccurate, a lot of the countries in the balkan are joined together and some countries in central europe too. Russia has been divided because I needed some more territories, and well it's not historically accurate at all. Think of it as an alternative reality or something like that (and I had to cut them together because of space, it would work on the newer map to have the original countries but I did not think of making the map 150% bigger back when I made it). Noted on the Mark II and MKIV, very much appreciated when you learn more about it from people who are interested in WW1 :) Thanks!

[b]Autumn, 1910.[/b] The spring of 1910 went by and the forces of the three great nations in Europe armed themselves for combat. Industries were raised and armies were drafted, but no movement could be seen anywhere. It was the mighty cannons of tyanet that fired the first shot against their enemy MBGrimm, and the combined effort of his two cruisers easily dispatched of MBGrimms lone Cruiser. And so it began, the great war that would shake Europe within it's foundations. Edit : To clarify, tyanet was player one, IamTheKing came second and MBGrimm was third player. This means that next round, IamTheKing will start first, MBGrimm is 2nd and tyanet is going to be third player. [img_thumb]http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/2539/autumn1910.png[/img_thumb] Not a lot of combat except for a naval battle in the M region west of Italy, this was not because of movement but because tyanet and MBGrimm placed their vessels there, IamTheKing has not placed his forces near the borders of his enemies, looking to defend his assets right now. tyanet and MBGrimm have done the opposite however, placing forces around Europe, probably testing their opponents to see where they might place their units so that they may strike the next turn where the enemy is weak. It took some time to get this started but I really think this can go places, the players seem to know the rules and I hope that we may continue this now on schedule with no school for the participants to take up their time, and I have vacation so it's all good. The only thing I would wish for is that the players write in how much IC they spend and how much they start with, so that it's easier to track how much they spend and on what. The Icons maybe is a bit too small for the current map, shout out if you think that I need to make them larger and I will do so. I am also testing out how I'll update it with writing the battles etc, should I do it in free-form (write small stories) or should I update with a style like this : [b]Player Y attacks player X[/b] Player X loses Z units, Player Y loses V units. Player Y has Taken territory U You decide. If someone can write something after this post then they are the greatest, thanks in advance!

The rules in General Discussion is different, I think you have to wait ~30 days or so before you can write a new post if you were the last one to post. I'll keep on writing freeform battle stories then, and I'm going to make sure they are longer than the one I did for the first battle. Is there anything that should be changed? Edit : Checked now, it's 60 days before I can post again unless there's a post beneath this one.
