Speaking of rem sleep and sleep paralysis. I used to fuck around and open my brothers eyelids while he was asleep, years later he gets a sleep paralysis of me opening his eyelids in his own room.
ITT: Bad bad memories :(
The fuck is sleep paralysis?
The fuck is sleep paralysis?
When your spine coagulates fluid and then slowly turns. Once it's done a revolution you are paralyzed in your sleep forever.
Never happened to me.
In the span of about two weeks I had three sleep-paralysis episodes. Only one scars me to this day. I hope never to experience it again.
This could have fit into the sleep and dreams megathread, but.. whatever :p
Sometimes i have dreams just like the OP, but in the end the shadow finds me and hurts me.
It hurts really bad, as if a lion is clawing my back.
:crying:

I wish I lived in your mind.
So just a few hours ago, I dreamed that I was in a long tunnel, looking for a way out the other end. I give up and leave the tunnel for a little while. When I attempted to go in there again, I saw police lines erected throughout the tunnel. My first thought was "There must've been a murder." So I went in to investigate. The tunnel was also a little bit flooded at this point.
Then I heard footsteps. I looked for a place to hide so that they won't find me. But the footsteps grew louder and at this point, I'm convinced that whoever it was would find me. So I woke up.
Then I heard footsteps AGAIN, only this time, my eyes are open. Next thing I know, this shadowy figure came up to my face, while I was still laying down. I couldn't move, and I swear I actually felt it breathe on me. I tried to scream, but the most I could get out was a moan. By the time I could move my arm to touch the figure, it disappears.
I envy anyone who has never suffered sleep paralysis before.
Oky this is a little crazy and i'm not joking, but i had nearly exactly the same dream and then suffered from just a slightly differnt sleep paralysis afterwards. My dream was the same tunnle, slight flooding, police, but in mine me and my family were being chased by this 'shadow figure'. Somone in the dream said to me that if the shadow figure is comming he will scream to alert you that he is gonna kill you.
One by one my family were being killed as i ran down this tunnle, each time i heard a scream which i would describe as the l4d2 hunter pounce scream but the scream went on for about 10 secounds. Then when he came for me i woke up with sleep paralysis just staring at my open wordrobe door. I heared a loud scream and saw a screaming shadow head staring back at me.(Imagain a scream mask but black making this fucking constant hunter pouncing scream)
I was probably about 9 at the time and still to this day that is the worst sleep paralysis i have ever had. After the sleep paralysis I ran to my mom and dads room and basically was shit scared for the rest of the night, God i can't even turn around as i type this.
I had a dream that I was fighting creepers and skeletons at night on Minecraft, I'm fucking petrified of that shit. Anyways, I was trying to run away in my dream but the paralysis kept me down. It felt like someone was stalking me from every angle. :frown:
I've done this method before, worked for me.
I went to the Forbidden Land in Shadow of the Colossus :smug:
Dont you get all those itches and feeling your blood flow through your veins and this disgusting feelings? I now envy you.
Sleep paralysis doesn't exist. You were abducted by aliens.

Seeing dreams of playing minecraft. :colbert:
Similar thing happened to me, although all i can remember is dreaming someone walked into my room while i was in bed and for some reason they were going to kill me. I tried screaming but just woke up.
It happens to me about 4 times a week =S
I had this terrifying dream where this little ginger girl with freckles kept trying to suck my dick in the courtyard of Dracula's Castle.
I'm not even kidding :tinfoil:
im shit scared of having this
Blending worlds of subconsciousness and reality? lol one time I was on heavy pain meds for broken bones, and I had hallucinations. It sucked though, because they were just about me asking my dad if he could go to the store and get some food.
I woke up later and said "Hey, did you get the food I asked for when you went to the store?" and he said he hadn't even left the house, or done downstairs where I was.
I get sleep paralysis a lot, but I never hallucinate. Guess I'm just lucky.
Sleep under sheet, problem half sorta solved.
Once as a kid when I woke up there were ants crawling all over my bed and I got damn scared. Then I really woke up but I couldn't sleep anymore that night.
Man Sleep paralysis is some serious shit.
I've only ever had it twice before without trying, and when I get it I sort of wish it away by trying to fall asleep but I start having some sort of Awake-nightmare so there's not a fucking chance I'm going to fall asleep, so what I find works the best is to try and move a certain part of your body, for me it's the jaw.
I just kind of retardedly nip at the air for a sec and then I regain full control of my body. Scares me.
I've had this once. I saw a shadowy figure just standing in my doorway. Then more shadowy figures moved in from the sides and stared at me. Then I got my body back.
Holy shit it was one of the scariest things in my life.
Ehh don't worry dude, I had sleep paralysis for not sleeping enough, I closed me eyes, then I heard loud thumping in my ears,it got louder and faster then it turned rapid and I was sweating.I couldn't move at all..
Luckily I sleep facing the wall so I was just hearing crap and getting scared looking at the wall.
dear god you traveled to another dimension, what you saw was reality my boy.
The crime scene was for your death.
