Why were you riding your bike on the sidewalk
What were you doing on the sidewalk? You're not a pedestrian.
What were you doing on the sidewalk? You're not a pedestrian.
this argument is stupid, in my case i would of gotten injured alot worse if i had been in the street since she would of been going faster and hit me head on
"how FUCKING DARE those cars drive on the road like they own it :arghfist::saddowns:" I will never understand bikers that act like the roads were paved specially for them
In Germany, and other European countries they have lanes in the road made for bikers, some with guardrails and other safety features.
In Germany, and other European countries they have lanes in the road made for bikers, some with guardrails and other safety features.
That's becuase Europeans are some communist fascists, and they only want to make it better for the bikers, and not anyone else. [sp]Don't hit me, I'm danish![/sp]

You aren't supposed to ride your bike on the sidewalk. This is why.
You aren't supposed to ride your bike on the sidewalk. This is why.
Says who?
Some fat kid ran me over with his bike once.
Fat kid here, I've accidentally ran someone over with my bike before.
I like how people crowd around a huge accident. ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA, people just love to watch shit go down, regardless of if your desensitized or not.
Yeah in a perfect world everyone would have walked by and ignored him
this argument is stupid, in my case i would of gotten injured alot worse if i had been in the street since she would of been going faster and hit me head on
No its not, what if someone walks around a corner and you hit him/her head on? You're not supposed to ride your bike on the sidewalk, you got hit by a car, but you can also hit a pedestrian while riding your bike on the sidewalk and put someone into the situation you were in.
Says who?
Common sense.
Says who?
Probably bike manufactures and people who create laws in a vain attempt to make people not kill each other doing daft things.

OP use everyone thinking you're dead to your advantage. You could tell everyone you did die then got revived or something like that. Much sympathy for you, especially from the girls. Just a lighter way of looking at things :v:
I got hit by a car on my bike about a year ago, it was scary as hell. Only needed to get stitches and a replacement tooth though, would have gotten a concussion without my helmet. Old lady who was driving rear ended me.
Bicyclists are the most dangerous thing on the road. To all road-bicyclers: I get that you're reducing your carbon footprint and whatnot, and that's all lovely, but maybe you could reduce it somewhere other than the middle of a one-lane road at fifteen miles per hour? I'd express my sympathies, OP, but your ilk are the scourge of my morning commute. :argh:
Cycle on the road?
fuck that shit, i've tried it for a while here in glasgow, and the amount of people who pull out of side roads right in front of you (:downswords: IT'S JUST A BIKE NOT A CAR) is unbelievable [editline]18th April 2011[/editline]
Bicyclists are the most dangerous thing on the road. One time I had to get an ultrasound on my right testicle because it hurt at random intervals. When I got home I got a message from a classmate asking me if I had "ball cancar" (Testicular Cancer) and apparently some dicks tried to spread around that I had testicular cancer. I don't.
Wow you're right, here in the UK we tend to help.
Don't bike in England. But hey, at least you've always got a nearby celebrity to help you out!
