Murfreesboro, TN here. Looks to have settled down for the most part.
My sister lives in Tullahoma. Her and her husband were in the closet with their 8 (I think) month old baby. I was on the porch watching everything happen. It was really cool to look at.
I live in Douglasville, getting raped by it at the moment.
I live in douglasville all I saw was a brief period of heavy rain and loud thunder
So, no one else here in South Carolina? I saw three tornadoes try and form like 30 yards from my house.
My grandad used to live in Spartanburg if that counts.
i live in bartow county georgia, a tornado went right by my house. school has been out for thursday and friday so far.
Around Mid-west Louisiana here. A tornado formed close enough to my to make my ears pop from the pressure change. We lost some shit off our house and that's about it.
Alabama here, house got destroyed in a hotel atm
Coweta county, GA seemed to be alright despite them predicting a tornado would go right through Newnan. I've heard a lot of bad shit about the northern side of the state and Alabama, though.
I live in Arizona, the closest thing we get to tornadoes are angry old guys with leaf blowers chasing kids down the street :v: [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] Anyways, this is insanity. [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] Also as a sidenote, this has been a year of extremes. No global climate change, eh?
Alabama here, house got destroyed in a hotel atm
same here were u at bro? Also removed 100 trees from my neighbors yard in a wife beater :v:
In Southern Alabama thank god, only got bits of rain. There are fundraisers all of over school now
same here were u at bro? Also removed 100 trees from my neighbors yard in a wife beater :v:
i'm driving to my brothers atm so i'm not in Alabama anymore, comeing to you from a gas station
Good news everyone, 13 of the 120 Transmission lines were fixed ~10 days without power.
We got hit here in Arkansas with some crazy ass rain a couple days ago. Tons of roads were flooded and closed off. We even had an early release from school for rain. Some cars were swept away too, I think the death toll is somewhere around 10.
wow a KIA saved a mobile home because it was parked on top of the tree's roots :v:
I think whoever controls the Weather likes Florida because for the past like 6 years nothings hit us that was tragic.
Quoting on of my neighbor "Two lucky desendants of some defunct monarchy is more important than people dieing and shit getting destroyed"
I think whoever controls the Weather likes Florida because for the past like 6 years nothings hit us that was tragic.
At this rate somethings bound to happen by the end of this year.
I'm in Georgia, we got hit with some thunderstorms around my home, and not just thunderstorms, I mean "HUGE ASS LIGHTNING STORMS." A friend of mine was driving home from work, stopped at a traffic light, and BAM! it got struck by lightning and EXPLODED. He cried. My house was conveniently missed.
At this rate somethings bound to happen by the end of this year.
I hope not, we're like the safest state right now, other then the crime rate.
Except for dying of palmetto bug bites.
My grandparents live in Tampa. I hope they will be alright. [editline]30th April 2011[/editline] Pretty safe here in Yuma AZ.
I was in Troup County when it hit. That's Georgia, btw. We got a lot of lightning and some rain, but fortunately, we weren't caught in anything too serious. My old elementary school took some damage though and that wasn't very far away from where I was at the time.
I hope not, we're like the safest state right now, other then the crime rate.
Anarchy.
I live in Cobb County, GA... Few days ago we had some bad storms, but no tornadoes relatively close to me. Maybe about 6 miles off, but luckily it avoided the major part of me. Apparently, it's coming back. The world is going to shit. :\
I live in Australia, No storm. Am I too far south?
Here in South Florida it's cloudy, grey, and gloomy but not raining or anything.

Can you give me a source, I'm curious. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline]
I was in Troup County when it hit. That's Georgia, btw. It's in Meriwether county, neighboring Troop. I live there, a tornado hit just outside of town.
