No, I don't see this trend setting in every year. I myself am unaware of other countries, and the taste of one's music is as personal as it is individual.

However, I don't know anyone personally who agreed on having that swedish artist represent us in eurovision; compared to the others, this guy reeks of selloutness and other shit you do with having sold your soul to Satan (plus the little detail about kindergarden-pop, I mean come on.)
