Sweden got third place? :what:
For some reason. I myself wanted the german contribution to win, but oh well. A nice song none the less.
Who won?
Who won?
azerbaijan blockvoting at its finest
Who won?
russia
Who won?
Azerbadjan.
Yeah, I just stopped watching when I realized the blockvoting. The Arena was god damn impressive though.
Indeed, I liked alot of the background 'coreography'.
Me and 6 friends watched the finals together tonight. Felt a bit weird since I really despise all the shitty music you hear in Eurovision
So they brought back the Judge system to try and curb block voting which worked initially and now the Judges themselves are block voting? :suicide:
GODFUCKING DAMMIT I MISSED THIS. Was it a good thing that I missed it?
It's supposed to be for European countries geographically. But it's not even for that.
It's for members of the EBU.
Azerbaijan is rich enough to host it. And capital city is not that bad. I live here I must know.
GODFUCKING DAMMIT I MISSED THIS. Was it a good thing that I missed it?
I turned on late, watched a few, then heard that the Foo Fighters were playing live on BBC3 (Thanks, whoever it was who mentioned this). Came back in time for the voting. From what I saw...you didn't miss a lot.
only true vote point givers are denmark, ireland, israel, moldova cuz most points they gave are not only for their neighbouring countries
"Get You" "Taken By a Stranger" "I'm Still Alive" "Running Scared" "Coming Home" "So Lucky" These titles seem to be telling a story about an abduction and escape. If only there was a song in there called "Whips and Chains" or something. What else can I do with these weird titles...
GODFUCKING DAMMIT I MISSED THIS. Was it a good thing that I missed it?
Yeah, there was literally no 'good' song. All the songs were 'ugh' or 'meh' and occasionally better than the others, but none was actually good.
the competition was obviously rigged, estonia didnt give russia 12.
Yeah, there was literally no 'good' song. All the songs were 'ugh' or 'meh' and occasionally better than the others, but none was actually good.
Yeah, except Moldova's entry.
Except Moldova's entry.
Moldova always comes up with something hilarious every year.
I still think they should've went with this instead of those retards, but whatever.
I had fun guessing the votes, I must have gotten about 16 correct guesses, so much tactical voting going on it's just stupid.
Estonia's song was definetly not worth the second to last place. The new jury voting thing is bullshit.
If Germany wanted to win, they'd have kidnapped Rammstein and put him on stage.
If Germany wanted to win, they'd have kidnapped Rammstein and put him on stage.
except that wouldnt work because rammstein are bad
Why hasn't there been an awesome band like Lordi again? All the songs are the same dumb pop song.
Azerbaijan made its debut appearance at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. The country's entry gained the third place in 2009 and fifth the following year. Now they win it. Clearly they have lots of friends. I liked Sweden, Denmark, Italy and Germany. At least this year it wasn't a clear winner from the start - disappointed that Azerbaijan won with that performance though.
except that wouldnt work because rammstein are bad
I don't listen to Rammstein but I can certainly say that they are NOT bad.
Georgia's song was probably the one that I liked the most. At least it wasn't some shitty ballad about love. Iceland's song was pretty good too. I liked it for some reason. Not the part where the fat guy kissed the other one though. :v:
