i love jay and silent bob, they have seen some shit of the years
What kind of fucked up accent was that?
I love how all the non-English posters have no-idea what a Scottish accent is
I'm fairly sure if someone is trying to do something illegal you're allowed to intervene as long as you don't attack them, kind of like citizens arrest.
Citizen's arrest is restraining someone and immediately phoning the police, this was battery [editline]11th December 2011[/editline]
What kind of fucked up accent was that?
Wow jeeze SCOTrail I wonder where that train could possibly be perhaps in Scotland??
Just watched it again. Now I'm seeing the kid's attitude. It was at least quasi-justified.
That thick accent geeeesh...
I don't really like either of the parties involved. The big guy was a jerk, and so was the kid, so I say whatever the outcome its fair.
Wait where the hell did they throw the kid out?I guess its at a station which is okay
He said he payed, more than likely BS but what if he did? They'd have a massive lawsuit on their hands. Besides vigilante justice is not a good idea, this isn't the Old West.
Did you even watch the video? he paid for a ticket in the opposite direction which was only a single way. not a return.
Funny thing is if the kid was nice and really apologetic about it, he could have got sympathy from somebody on the train and they would've spotted him the few bucks to let him stay on.

But he definitely seemed like a douche over such a small amount of money.
He could just get off and wait for the next train. When new train comes - nobody will know that he doesn't have a ticket. :downs:

I can barely understand what anyone is saying. That big dude at the end is a douche though.
That guy pushing him off and then getting applauded made me want to rip my screen in half. Yeah, the kid's wrong for not paying but that's no way to handle it, what if the kid had a knife?
I was really hoping he did... I would have stabbed that fat piece of shit then booked off the train.
I was really hoping he did... I would have stabbed that fat piece of shit then booked off the train.
That's just going to make the problem even worse.
Punk deserved it. Over here they give you the choice to get off or pay a i believe it's 25 euro fine + the price of the ticket. If you're trouble police will be waiting at the next stop.
here there is only one option: 40€ fine + price of the ticket
I once bought the wrong ticket as I am terrible with trains and the ticket inspector came up all suspicious as I was claiming to have bought it with the intention of getting one for the train I was on and I hadn't already used it (it was a legit ticket I just got the wrong one :v:). In cases like this being polite can help loads, certainly helped me from getting kicked off and ending up not where I wanted to be :v:.
if you've made an honest mistake or haven't purchased a ticket because you haven't the money and it's the last train of the night and you just want to get home (for example) then i think anyone would always be apologetic and polite to the conductor, explaining your situation as it is, this kid had a really bad attitude and evidently never had any intention of paying for a ticket - so i think it's just that he shouldn't get to be on the train
I just LOVE how they don't let him get his belongings.
scottish people have a loose grasp (at best) on the english language
Since this thread has been bumped, it's been found that the kid being thrown off was a paying customer and the big hero has been charged with assault. The guy was a fucking diabetic who was given two out-going tickets. This is not america, no one gets charged for shit like this. Unless the kid got seriously hurt which he did not.
