which says nothing about the kid being a paying customer. take anything from the daily mail/record with a big pinch of salt. the fact that the kid claims he was sold 2 outwards tickets i find very difficult to believe, if he asked for a return then the machine is automated to print an outward and a return, and if he wanted to buy 2 singles instead why would anybody sell him 2 singles in the same direction? sounds like the kid is grasping at straws to show how wrongly done he was.
the fact he's diabetic is unfortunate, but it has nothing to do with the fact that the kid was a jerk to the conductor on board, i don't believe he ever had any intention of paying for his ticket. also in regards to him not getting his bag back, there's a guy in a thick blue and white striped coat that clearly throws something off the train towards the kid (which i imagine was the kids bag) and the 'Big Man' then sits down where the kid was sitting; all they wanted was to remove him from the train, not to be a dick and not let him have his bag back.
in my opinion this kid is just trying everything he can to get sympathy and attention from people by "proving" that he was the innocent one in all of this, when i don't think that's the case at all.
Since this thread has been bumped, it's been found that the kid being thrown off was a paying customer and the big hero has been charged with assault. The guy was a fucking diabetic who was given two out-going tickets.
Why didnt he explain the situation? Saying "I fucking paid." when theres a train load of passengers, some with small kids, around isnt going to do any favors for himself.

Stupid how he gets charged for assault. The big man did the right thing. The kid wasn't going to get off, wouldn't pay and was causing problems - there was no other way to get him off.
If I'm not completely wrong, here in Norway you're allowed to ride the train to your destination if you don't have a ticket, then you'll get a fine sent to your address later on. So they don't really throw you of.
Though in this video it looks like the train is not moving, so they're probably allowed to throw him off.
Edit:
Why did he try to get back on if he didn't have a ticket?
Nah, you're not allowed to go if you don't have any money. You'll either get thrown off or fined 500 NOK (about 80 usd). You might get fined AND thrown off too.
They might LET you go, but they don't have to at all.

No he didn't, The kid payed for a ticket to the place and back but he was given the wrong ticket and was then thrown off, as if it was his fault.

like i said before, i seriously doubt that he was given the wrong ticket. if he asked for a return then whoever was printing the tickets would have had to go to serious lengths to print 2x outward journeys and no return
and if he asked for 2 singles (one in each direction) then again, whoever was printing the tickets would have had a difficult job printing 2 for the same journey. also not to mention that no one would ever buy 2 singles instead of a return, since it nearly always costs more; maybe a few quid, but sometimes nearly twice the price.
This is wrong, I don't care whether the fuck he had the right ticket or not. You don't just allow a random member of the public to literally THROW a kid alone off a train, in the dead of night. They should have just sent him a fine later on, instead of trying to publicly display their 'masculinity'.

Does it really matter what you doubt? Yeah, daily mail is often very unreliable, but there's two sources with consistent stories so more than likely this is what the kid actually said and regardless of whether or not his story is true the larger guy was very wrong for having thrown him off, it doesn't matter if he just killed a dozen babies it doesn't give him the right, only police have that jurisdiction. There are procedures for this type of scenario which the conductor did not follow.

Like someone else said, he probably was drinking and wasn't completely there, that's just what I think. I don't know, maybe he has some serious social angst, the conductor wasn't exactly being reasonable either.
Here you don't get thrown of the train. You can even go to the station you want without ticket, problem is you pay a fine 100 times the price of the ticket.
