I'm looking to come, I've never been to a gaming festival bedew so hopefully you can answer some of my questions. Do we leave our computer equipment there overnight or when were not there? I like the idea of getting a Clan box, Is that a private room away from everyone else? Would you treat people who are younger than you (~14) the same a anyone else? Would I be patronised to play TF2 With you guys? Would anyone want to compete in tornaments like CSS and minecraft with me?
You leave your tower and such there overnight, however you get a security sticker and you are not allowed to take it out of the hall unless you show your pass to show it's your PC, you can take small accessories like mouse and headphones away with you at night if it makes you feel safer Yeah a clanbox is a private room up on the first floor, it's fully airconned and allows you to sit with 31 other people away from the main hall, however it's £320 for a clanbox which is an extra £10 on everyones ticket and apparantly some members of FP are against it You won't be treated any different unless you act like you deserve to be treated different um sure I will compete in tournaments with you if you want [editline]1st June 2011[/editline]
At £3 a pint, have fun :v:
£3 isn't bad, it's only £2.10 in my local for a pint, hotel down the road from me is £3.85 :v:
I don't really enjoy tournaments that much. So I guess I'll just do the random matches with friends.
I don't know if I'm going to be going to this, got quite a lot of things to sort out like going to university and work and such
Noo, the that would mean our iseries veteran would not be there, it would just be me and lithi then. We need someone sensible to keep us in line.
I vote Eddy
Depending on what this recruiter tells me tomorrow, I might be able to come. We'll just have to see!
Hezzy you have to go, last time i seen you was i36, bet you missed me? haha :v:
I wanted to meet hezzy as well.
Drinks on Eddy
Should have said that before I spent half of my paycheck. :v:
Underage. :saddowns:
D'awww
I vote Eddy
REALLY NOW?
I will be there, in the CSS zone with others though. Any idea where most of facepunch is going to be located?
Since the venue changed who knows.. TF2?
Pretty much guaranteed not able to come, too much to organize at the end of August and start of September regarding Uni shit.
Will the pints taste like piss like they do when I go to watch rugby?
REALLY NOW?
Ok now I have second thoughts. Now I vote Cosmic Duck
Will the pints taste like piss like they do when I go to watch rugby?
The pints were alright, they were just a tad expensive. You could buy crates at newbury if you wanted warm beer.
Are cokes expensive :v:
How often do people get robbed at these things?
How often do people get robbed at these things?
I've heard it's quite often. Just padlock your tower shut and take mouse/headphones/keyboard with you.
Oh the multiplay site it says that its a rare happening (Getting robbed). But what if our cases dont use padlocks? (Dun dun dun.)
Then do a DIY. Wrap chains around it. Someone did that I think too.
I've heard it's quite often. Just padlock your tower shut and take mouse/headphones/keyboard with you.
It's not really common at all. I lost my wallet, full of cards and everything and had it returned without anything missing from it.
How would I book a seat next to all the guys who are going from FP?
Ask where they're sat.
http://iseries.multiplay.co.uk/seating/ (It's not been updated for i43/telford yet)
What is everyones seat numbers?
What is everyones seat numbers?

(It's not been updated for i43/telford yet)

How would I book a seat next to all the guys who are going from FP?
Pick the TF2 area when you are booking, the seat changer is gonna be fixed tonight iirc so you will be able to pick where you want to sit tonight hopefully
Pick the TF2 area when you are booking, the seat changer is gonna be fixed tonight iirc so you will be able to pick where you want to sit tonight hopefully
Ok, If I decide to go ill select the TF2 Area.
Then do a DIY. Wrap chains around it. Someone did that I think too.
That was me. :v: I didn't have any cabling at the time so I just used a chain.
I thought it was someone I knew
I used those key-screws. Worked well. Haven't had anything taken out and I don't even think anyone did anything to my stuff. All I took back was my headset/mouse/keyboard and I left those behind on multiple occasions and they weren't touched. If I took my xbox though I'm taking that back with me to my tent unless I can get a security box or something and strap it to my desk.
