I think it would probably be a good idea to tell your father that if he doesn't feel conformable leaving you on your own then he stands far away so he cant hear the "banter" that will occur.
He's a chill guy, he probably won't mind

Oh thats cool then.
My group "=[MI5]=" have happened to sit next to (and behind) you lot, it was a coincidence as the majority of the clan don't know what facepunch is. So I guess I'll see some of you there. We're not a serious clan or anything and we'll be playing all sorts of different games.
I might be attending Facepunch with a friend, since we've been Facepunch users for years; what sort of games do you plan to play together?
Most likely Team Fortress 2, Duke Nukem Forever and starcraft.
I might get a press pass to this, but I need to save up money to go
What are the requirements and the source, to get a press pass?
I think just money

You have to be from a semi-professional publication and you have to be serious about covering it as press. Im still in the process of applying for mine, i've been given one im just ironing out the final details
The event is four days, five days with EAS?
The event is four days, five days with EAS?
Four days, the network and stalls normally ain't setup till the official starting day so EAS is really what it says on the tin, unless you count walking around talford for a few hours a fifth day.
Also saying that I'm still looking on how to get down to telford currently, I've decided to go and fuck the train, too much effort.

RAEG me and a friend went to order last night but he didn't quite have the money...he will tonight...but the four seats available have all gone...just one left... :( We can't sit with FP :(.
The Insomnia series now has a way you can pay £20 and reserve your ticket. Not sure if that allows access to the seat picker though. Someone would have to demo this or find out.
