Great pic but I would be so terrified of accidentally sitting in dog shit if I was leaning a against a wall like that in suburban London, you brave man.

I thought this was from "Her" for a second. I love the contrast of the red on white.

Says the man who rarely comes down here :P
It's a beautiful residential square. Not every square inch of the city is covered in shit.

Sorry for the Instagram quality. Plus HTC One adds a damn ugly purple tone in low-light.

all cameras do that, my 6d really does it at iso 102400. drag the blue curve down in the shadows to get rid of it.
it's a well known htc one bug but you are correct it is easily fixable
Phone pic of friends proof sheet

also I don't remember if i've posted this before but I don't see it in this thread so I'm gonna guess "no"
do all of you guys have remotes when you do self-portraits?? I think that would make it a lot easier. Because I tried again today and this was like the only shot i really liked and moving back and forth and only having 10 secs to pose or whatever, I feel rushed doing it.

And if it is a remote, I dunno if the A58 has a remote but I found one on this weird site that says it works on the A58 but I'm a bit suspect to order it, since I googled everywhere and no one apparently has used it for the A58. It's only like $8 tho. And this is a wireless remote. I know it has the wired ones but i don't really think that'd be any good at all either ways.

I use this for my Nex 5 and a77

range is p not good in daylight (at best 30 feet, at worst like 12), but serviceable. in direct sunlight just hold up your hand to cast a shadow on the IR sensor and that helps. the 2 second thing is useful as it gives you just about enough time to hide the remote from sight. i use it a lot for tripod work too, it helps keep the camera balanced and avoids blur. without a doubt worth $7.
Googled a bit and unfortunately they dropped IR support on the a58, so you won't be able to use an IR remote. i'm not even sure if they have other wireless remotes, rather lame of sony.

yeah, that kinda annoyed me when I found out. I've read I can just use an Android device to tether it to my camera and remotely trigger the shutter, but unfortunately, the only android device I own is a big ass tablet. I might just try it and just push the tablet out of the way or throw it out of frame lol
