I Lol'd, a lot.
You guys need to calm down, starting to make me feel a little frisky.
Does nobody understand that these aren't even enforced and were written when the constitution was written. these aren't new laws, they aren't enforced laws, and Yeah if you were speaking figuratively, If these laws WERE enforced they WOULD be unconstitutional, but since they're not, there is nothing to cry and whine about. And This is not what U.S.A is turning into it, It's what it evolved FROM.
But Christians don't believe in evolution!
But Christians don't believe in evolution!
Sure we do.
Only the dumb ones don't.
I'm an atheist and I support these laws.
But Christians don't believe in evolution!
Yes they do.
I am an ordained minister so I guess I'm good.
But Christians don't believe in evolution!
Even if Christians didn't believe in Evolution, The Term Evolution still exists.. and In definition, I'd be correct by using the word Evolution ;)
Look, whatever the hell people think, teaching the bible in schools isn't going to stop jack shit. People are people, they'll be cruel with it or without it, dumb with it or dumb without it. Granted we can't sit there and have people and fuck each-others brains and using methamphetamine out of sheer stupidity. We need morality and some virtue to be taught in schools to avoid having a brave-new-world or roman-orgy-style-decadence scenario in the near future.
But some of the shit taught in that book is absolutely insane. I always thought the story of David and the lions was a good story... until I got older and realized that he's getting thrown in with a bunch of lions. Regardless of what anyone thinks, God isn't determining if those lions got enough to eat or not. And then to find out that the people who falsely accused him of such things ended up getting thrown to the lions instead, isn't just vindictive, it's giving people the wrong impression about life in general.
If this was real life, then don't you think those lions would have chewed him to bits and those people would have gotten off free? If not, you need to get out more and smell more coffee.
You guys do realize that the US Constitution (that is, the federal constitution) clearly states that religious beliefs can't prevent citizens from being apart of the government, and that no state can override the federal constitution, right?

I think we've cleared that up already, well at least I hope so.

The US Constitution doesn't exist in the south. They succeeded a long time ago!
People need to learn some history.
What do you think the revolutionary war was about!?

I agree that morality is important, but The Bible isn't the place to get it from.
But Christians don't believe in evolution!
There are Christians who believe int he bodies creation by god-controlled evolution, while soul was patented by god.

Yeah but that's stupid.

You don't get morality from the bible.
It's not like anyone who doesn't believe in -insert god- has no morals.
It's simply human continuation versus effort, potential error, and the cost of the action.
Dude those are old ass laws nobody pays attention to anymore. If it ever actually came up, the law would be overturned so fast it would make your head spin.
