The blasphemy part makes sense, but it's a bit odd you have to be religious to be in office. Also, can we please shut the fuck up already with all these anti-religion comments? You Atheists aren't supreme all-knowing geniuses, so don't act like it. Both sides admit the other could be right, and meet at an equilibrium.

The blasphemy part is a violation of the First Amendment and it could never be enforced. Assuming OP is legitimate. I don't feel like checking up on that. Given I still hear tell of people thinking sodomy is illegal in Tennessee I have my doubts. I assure you personally that sodomy is perfectly legal.

Assuming that is a real law it is unenforceable, and would be one I personally would love to defy.

The Supreme Court ruled that it was unconstitutional.

The law may still be on the books but it is a defunct law, no longer enforced or recognized, and is simply a marker for cases that may pertain to that law. Stop questioning me and making me read things.
