these games always have a great storyline and soundtrack
i think its a refreshing feeling from just only dog fighting and jet bombing.
I love the look of it, the theme is amazing too.
Too bad I can barely play on our (me and my dad's) PS3. :v:
All I can play is like, Soul Calibur on it, not too used to playing fast paced games on it.
Why do the planes bleed?
Why do the planes bleed?
Plane blood. It's black and very valuable.
Also that dogfight mode is incredible. It can potentially make a dogfight look like one of those epic moments that happen only once throughout a game.
Hmm...I'm quite the simmer when it comes to flying but this does look great and if it's fun then I may be able to get over the fact it probably handles like someone else is doing half the piloting.
Just not sure if I'll be able to play it without constantly shouting 'that shit wouldn't happen, aww c'mon' etc.
Does look sexy though...hrmm..may pick it up on xbox after it's been out for a while a bit cheaper for something to relax and play.
It has A-10's. Instant buy.
FUCK!
it comes out the day before skyrim
Wow, that linkin park-like music was pretty horrible. I hope the actual soundtrack will have a more energetic tune, like the previous trailer.

then the actual game has songs like #let the bodies hit the floor#
:v:
usually ace combat soundtracks are pretty good
i loved ace combat 6
I don't see a damage counter in that gameplay video...
Please tell me it doesn't have regenerating health
god whoever at namco bandai thought it'd be clever to have "gotta stay fly" in the lyrics for their ace combat trailer
all my rage

blood splatter on screen when you get hit
Music aside, that gameplay was pants shittingly awesome. Will definitely buy this, haven't bought an AC game since AC4.
pretty sure its a month
oh is it using that other date method
month/day/year?
Oh shit comes out 3 days after my birthday. I might get this
O-O-OILY SCREEN
so real...
I don't think Ace Combat has ever tried to be the staple of realistic flight sims.

music made this rather amazing.
GO DANCE WITH THE ANGLES MISTER
Ace Combat games even with the ridiculous moments in the story, are always such a blast to play. Real life locations with americans vs russians? sounds generic as fuck but you'll be having so much fun you won't care.
The amount of detail in the combat is brutal. I mean LOOK AT THIS:

Yes. You are seeing that correctly, that is the former pilot of the other craft getting absolutely killed.
I hadn't played an Ace Combat game before 6. Definitely one of the best impulse buys I've ever done.

Well it still looks like your dodging tactical nukes and such; so other than the setting it still has the same amount of ridiculousness that the previous games had.
Fuck yessssss. Love this.
The rapping was kind of awkward and uneeded though
GODDA STAY FLY
GODDA STAY STRONG

Odd, they going for Hip Hop now?
AC4 = electronic/syntethic (I don't know what genre it's actually called)
AC5 = Orchestra
Zero = Latin
One of the game developers called the disintegrating planes as similar to gibbing.
Ace combat soundtracks are great atmosphere enhancers. I still remember this song playing on the last mission of the fifth game.

Those fragments ugh
I'm hoping the damage system is either regenerating on low difficulty or just the same as the old games but without any indicators, leaving you to guess how damaged your plane is.
Because if it were the latter, that'd be pretty sweet.
