I know. I had the pleasure of serving in the Conscript Band of Finland for 9 months during my conscription.

We eventually performed at some sort of big military tattoo in Holland:

Also, how does it work? Do they only recruit people into the band with musical experience?

I believe you can apply for it, although not sure.

It's classified as special forces so you have to apply to get in.
I play the alto sax myself and was one of the few classical saxophonists applying which got me in. Tons of jazzpeople tried to no avail.

But yeah, as for the people with the rifles in the video, they had to learn all that while in service. They're actually singers, pianists and guitarists from the show band that got stuck with rifle spinning :v:
