Gears 3 used all rendered footage, the MW3 tv trailer'll be the same, as will the SR3 trailer and so on and so forth.

yep except in reality it looks shit compared to the rendered stuff
You know why they would use renders? Because it'd be a fucking embarrassment not to.
Can't wait to show my kids this video in 20 years, they'll think it was so obviously fake.
