I'm a big fan of DSP, have been for a few years now, I realise he sucks at every game that isn't a fighting game, but half the fun of watching him is watching him get frustrated and listening to the stupid shit he says, I know he says it all out of frustration and that's unfortunately not what a lot of people see. He is a decent reviewer and is spot on with his reviews the majority of the time.

I think I just found my new favorite reviewer.
What I think people should do when they want a review, is just cut out or cover up the number/grade it gets.
Numbers mean shit to be honest, like in that Witcher 2 review. If you would have just cut out the number, it would be an honest review.
I think everyone is over obsessing over a little number, and I honestly believe that a number is all people look at now a days when they want to see how something is.
I loved Duke Nuken Forever.
For me it was great mix of simple shooter and puzzles. Also it's humor and "nudity" (I can see more sex in cartoon for kids nowadays anyway...) and overall atmosphere.
Beat it on hardest in around 8 hours. Imo, it was well worth it, really fun, bringing old good times of FUN gaming, etc.
For me its more than 8/10 (my personal scale, that I rate after completing the game and comparing it to other games that I played in last months), as I didn't have really any problems with it to be honest.
So I have a question as I heard DSP had some problems with some bosses ...
Where did he use duke holo ? I have never ever used it in singleplayer o.O (remember, hardest difficulty level).
When he explains how you needed the shrink ray to kill those two commanders, I had to disagree. With the enforcer gun and shotgun, i killed both of them.
but in full honesty, this review is amazing.
He's right the way through, though I disagree on his point that The Witcher 2 was not a 9.2. That wasn't the point of the video though so it doesn't matter.

This guy isn't right just because he likes the game. Some other guy's review was posted on here where he spent 20 minutes making good points and concluded that the game was terrible. Neither of them are more correct it's just opinions. But I find it hard to take this guy seriously when he calls the reviewers opinions "wrong", and when he says that the graphics of this game are on par with any modern shooter. That's just blind fanaticism.

I agree with his video completely. That being said having watched one of his playthroughs I can say he is honestly the worst video game player I've ever seen.
Like I've never seen anybody so unfamiliar with the concept of killing the enemies to not die.

With games, once you've played it for an hour you know exactly how it plays, how good the engine is, how well it handles, and how fun it is overall. There are always exceptions; games that take longer to learn how to play or lengthy games that can take hours to really pick up (generally RPG's and strategy games).
This is not one of those games. This is the simplest form of game, a linear FPS with little to no plot. It's insane to say that you can't judge a game like that just because you didn't finish it.

I never said it was a bad thing. I was just classifying the game: A linear FPS with little to no plot. That's just fact, I wasn't citing it as a reason why the game is bad.
Duke nukem has always been a clusterfuck of awesome, chaos, tits, and bad one liners. Your tastes have changed since 98 so shuddafugup and play it like you played DN3D.

Just because linear isn't always bad doesn't mean it was used poorly in DNF.
If yahtzee says that it's terrible will you still think it's great?
