...What
police kill guy people start riot "against government" people burn and steal from small private businesses
Putting people in shit houses in shit neighborhoods makes shit people.
But there's still an opportunity to rise above the filth of your conditions, and become even an averagely nice person in such an environment. It's not like being in the ghetto turns everybody into Tupac Shakur.
Don't forget about the part where the cops lied saying they were fired upon when it turned out they weren't
so what, he still pulled a gun on them. in the states the guy would have been tazed, maced, brutally beaten and then probably would get shot anyway
With a camera in peoples face with somone like him, It is easy to say dumb shit.
If society doesn't allow an individual in when he is acting the right way(working and paying for shit), he will then enter it the wrong way(stealing and vandalism).
How does vandalism help anyone at all?
so what, he still pulled a gun on them. in the states the guy would have been tazed, maced, brutally beaten and then probably would get shot anyway
That has not been confirmed at all Nobody knows so stop adding to the misinformation
That has not been confirmed at all Nobody knows so stop adding to the misinformation
what difference does it make? it's still no reason to steal shit from mom & pop businesses
what difference does it make? it's still no reason to steal shit from mom & pop businesses
This whole thing reminds me of the Rodney King LA Riots. It's got all the same traits.
This whole thing reminds me of the Rodney King LA Riots. It's got all the same traits.
except rodney king was actually videotaped being beaten
except rodney king was actually videotaped being beaten
No one saw that tape aside from a short clip given to the News and the video presented to the court. So the people rioting were essentially in the dark about what happened and why. He had robbed a store in the past, than that night he led police on a high-speed chase and after they caught him he became violent and the police had to subdue him. What exactly happened is beyond my knowledge but I certainly don't think it was worth the deaths and collateral damage that LA Riots caused. Since that arrest he's been arrested several times for things like hitting his wife with his car and neglectful driving after he crashed his car into a building. Watching the video now, it's pretty apparent he was the victim of police brutality and the verdict was, in my opinion, wrong, but it never was something to beat, kill and burn over.
what difference does it make? it's still no reason to steal shit from mom & pop businesses
It makes the difference between a police fuck up and a legitimate shooting, and thats important to get straight. I didn't say it's a reason, don't bring this shit up then dismiss it.
"I'm not parked." That excuse about made me rage. I deal with that just about any time I warn people about parking in firelanes. "I'm not parked." Am I chasing you beside your vehicle, are we having this discussion on the move? No? Then you're freakin' parked.
Not saying those people in the emergency lane didn't deserve it but this guy was acting like such a dick to them. But he was brave considering he could have gotten his ass beat.
Not everyone is a tough guy in their cars parked on the M1 ready to beat up some innocent guy asking a few questions.
Not saying those people in the emergency lane didn't deserve it but this guy was acting like such a dick to them. But he was brave considering he could have gotten his ass beat.
I think he acted quite well, considering these people could be stopping people from being helped.
Don't forget about the part where the cops lied saying they were fired upon when it turned out they weren't
The guy was carrying an illegal firearm, pointed it/tried drawing it on police, and on top of that was apparently on the way to kill someone. Really you could almost blame this fiasco on England's retarded fear and stigma surrounding firearms. Police get the slightest hint that someone has one and they call in the SWAT team with MP5s and apparently open fire
I hope he really did show his tape to the police.
Don't forget about the part where the cops lied saying they were fired upon when it turned out they weren't
I don't know about England, but in America police can shoot at the suspect even if they didn't fire.
I don't know about England, but in America police can shoot at the suspect even if they didn't fire.
In America if you get pulled over for a routine traffic stop and you suddenly book it they can open fire on you.
Dumb drivers exist everywhere. Just 30 minutes ago I was biking home from work when some dumb broad was speeding through a stop sign and turning right. I being on the sidewalk and crossing at this stop sign at the time suddenly shit my pants and swerved onto the road to avoid this dumb broad screaming "HOLY SHIT!". She finally decides to slow down to say "I'm so sorry, you were in my blind spot!". Bitch if I was in your blind spot then what the fuck is your excuse for driving through a stop sign onto traffic. And this is a very common occurrance where I live (Windsor, Ontario) so I've just about had enough. I couldn't get her plates, honestly I wasn't thinking about that until after she sped off, but I imagine if I had something to throw at her she'd have stopped.
Don't forget about the part where the cops lied saying they were fired upon when it turned out they weren't
The police never claimed this. The media assumed it.
How does vandalism help anyone at all?
It doesn't but by committing acts of vandalism they will become part of society.
It doesn't but by committing acts of vandalism they will become part of society.
What does that mean? Is this a metaphor? Because I don't get it.
You know, even though they are on the wrong lane, they still seem pretty friendly. It this was in some other country, the person would try to grab the camera.
You know, even though they are on the wrong lane, they still seem pretty friendly.
In America if you get pulled over for a routine traffic stop and you suddenly book it they can open fire on you.
Lmao. They can pull their gun on you but they can't fire at you unless you've shown some form of a physical threat.
