A huge problem with the fanmade songs using this software is the way they use it. If it's not done perfectly the words and sounds will clash and clip horribly. Back when I tried to use it I could never get it right either.
It isnt anime, so your point is invalid.
AFAIK, the artstyle that Miku Hatsune is based off comes from anime.

Do we have to bring this up every month?
AFAIK, the artstyle that Miku Hatsune is based off comes from anime.
Hatsune Miku is a program that is made by composing music, simulate singing and animate a 3D animation. anime is a 2D animation that has various sounds and voices added to it. Thus, saying that Hatsune Miku's artstyle is based on anime is wrong since it gives off the connotation that it was the original artstyle, or just style, which it is not. It is a product of later adaptations into a anime like style for various reasons. And even if it WAS based on anime, or its style, that does not make it the same as anime. A motorbike is made with the bicycle in mind, and they copied a lot of concepts from the bicycle. It looks very much alike, but does that mean they are the same thing? No, it does not.

You are giving others a bad name.

Keep in mind that most animes use a combination of 3D animation (usually used for objects, lighting, and environment) and 2D animation (used for characters and some objects).

Bring up any discussion and I will answer with the same kind of reply. Also, I recommend not putting me together with the rest of you humans. As a side note, I do not have anything against people not liking it, I have something against misinformation and faulty understanding.
holy fuck bro you're getting super defensive stupid long hair? eyes taking up 50% of the face? perfect body? yeah that's animu
If that is what you define as anime, then it is anime for you. The definition that is, and should be considered the only one based on the fact we want to communicate, does not agree, and would say that it is two separate concepts. Two products, two things. EDIT:
Anime is animation from japan. Allthough, it is currently used a lot in anime, but it is not what defines it as anime. You can have you can have all kinds of fancy stuff like TVs, GPS, MP3/CD players and so on in a car, but it is not what makes it a car. It is the 4 wheels(as a general rule, listing them all is unneeded strain), an engine and a steering wheel. Anime is just Japanese 2D animation. They can use what they want to get the 2D animation completed, but it is still Japanese 2D animation.

Besides, there's a difference between being based off of anime, and being anime. The way they look NOW is like anime, you can't really deny that.
I'm not convinced that anime is necessarily 2D. Besides, there's a difference between being based off of anime, and being anime.
It is in the definition of the term "Anime". Yes, there is a difference, but it is still false. What WOULD be true, would be something like this: "Hatsune Miku and co. has gotten a lot of animations based off of anime instead of the original 3D animations that Vocaloid really consists of."
