[sp]I completely forgot the significance of mr rabbit, what was her role again?[/sp]
[sp]Mr Rabbit was one of the two founders of The Network (the second one was Carvel, Jessica and Arby's father). She made the group believe that finding the manuscript would help them take The Network down, but all she wanted is Jessica to come with it.[/sp]
Can't fucking believe how good that ending was
This shit needs to be talked about more, completely annihilates almost every tv show/film/anime

[sp]I love how they steer you away from realising the relevance of Milner meeting Jessica (something which IIRC does not occur until that final part of the last ep, or at least not under such circumstances), even after Jessica realises the truth, and not until it is explicitly spelled out on the roof that she just wanted Jessica all along.[/sp]

With this in mind, I think it's fairly obvious that Milner is Jessica and RBs mother.
Does that mean that [sp]RB was the cure to Janus, which means that the cure is probably dead (assuming he did die of course)?[/sp]
And I've got to agree with the Misfits thing, series started out pretty good then as all the original characters got picked off it got kind of shit, don't even get me started on that awfully done Nazi episode, hope that doesn't happen to this.
We never actually saw him die though... I was seriously expecting him to turn up in the station at the end and ask Grant and Ian his favourite question...
What is Milner's first name? I remember one of the characters saying it in the last ep. [sp]Is it Leona or Lenore[/sp]
I just saw the last episode, and it didn't disappoint. I hope that if they do a second series (which considering how few people seem to have been watching the series feels like it might not happen) that they get a good balance between making the story seem fresh but making sure they don't go overboard with new additions, like the way Heroes did with the seemingly unending supply of comic books that tell the future, and random enemies popping up that have nothing to do with the original series, that sort of thing.
Forgive the bump, but has anybody hear anything regarding a second series?

No news on a season 2 date, though it seems that HBO and David Fincher will be working on an American adaptation

Series 2 coming in July. No trailer yet, but they did put up a recap of series 1 for anyone who needs a reminder.

oh snap
oh shit! time for a s1 rewatch!
Trailer is out! Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen/finished S1 (if that wasn't obvious)

how
what
oh my
Rewatched the entire series today. Holy shit, even knowing everything that's gonna happen, it's so fucking good.
Also, [sp]for some reason I thought Wilson shot Lee in the head, but he totally didn't. So it makes way more sense that he'd be able to come back in series 2.[/sp]
ehhhh i dont like how literally none of the major characters who supposedly "died" in s1 actually did die, as spoiled by that trailer. kinda ruins any impact.
I had no idea what this was gonna be when I started watching, only that it was critically acclaimed.
Oh my god this is like the most brutal show I've ever seen.
AWWW SHIT YEAHHH

warning: spoils the premise for the episode so if you don't want to know anything about it then don't watch it I guess it's up 2 u

utopia tomorrow bitchessssss
this show fucking rules, it's aesthetically nice looking and it's cinematography is beautiful. It's saddening how it's not getting the publicity it deserves.
But it's just Channel 4's nature to produce those one off gems and have it re-made horribly by some american guy
Super glad to hear this is getting a second series, didn't even know til today
Anyone know if it'll be up on 4od?
tonights episode was incredible. [sp]I feel like the story could've been told in more than one episode, and I would've been 100% content with an entire series shot in that same time period with the same effects and stuff, but the one-off episode was still incredibly good.[/sp]
Super excited for the next episode. Which, if I'm not mistaken, is gonna be broadcast on Tuesday at the same time. eep
Anyone know if it'll be up on 4od?
I'd assume so, they tend to have stuff on there relatively quickly
[editline]15th July 2014[/editline]
also I was [sp]disappointed that Rose Leslie was only involved in the one-off episode, she was brilliant in it, but she was so unbelievably good as a young Milner that I'll forgive her[/sp] :v:
in fact, [sp]the guy who played the Mr. Rabbit decoy was really good as well. I think the fact that the original actors had great direction and had such distinct mannerisms means it's easy for really good actors to copy the mannerisms and totally convince the audience that they're younger versions of the characters. which is another great thing about the show.[/sp]
god damn I love it
It's still just series 1 on 4od, according to the page it's "Next on TV: 10pm 15th July"
I've forgotten everything that happened in S1. Shit.

Yah I've only just watched ep 1 on 4oD, because I got home at 9pm today I missed ep 2 on TV. Guess I have to wait another fucking day.
Ep 1 was sublime. I really feel for Carvel, s1 made him out to be a total cunt but that's not the case at all. He actually really did love Jessica.
absolutely fantastic episode, there really is nothing else like this on tv. looking forward to catching up with the current day cast
[editline]16th July 2014[/editline]
love the elements of dark humor i literally burst out laughing at [sp]"now can we all just calm down" right after blowing that guys brains out [/sp]
[editline]16th July 2014[/editline]
wow shit i didn't know there was another episode aired today

[sp]he did knife a rabbit in front of arby tho[/sp]
Episode highlights: [sp]green[/sp]
That was a really underwhelming episode, I hope the season picks up. Maybe it's the lack of music.
Oh wow,[sp]Carvel's alive![/sp]
Man oh man I love this show
Oh wow,[sp]Carvel's alive![/sp]
[sp]was it just me who knew straight off the bat that anton was carvel? like, a random, seemingly delusional character who just happens to know everything about deels turns up the episode after an episode detailing miller and carvel's plans thirty years ago... it was kinda obvious[/sp]
but it was still a hella good episode
