I saw them supporting Mastodon and I spent their entire set going "STAND THE FUCK STILL"
that drop was so heavy i fucked your cat
or something like that
I only listen to skrillex when I'm on a programming binge at night
I'm not gonna lie, I thought that was a legitimately glorious listen.
ugh pendulum is even worse. my rule of thumb, if the song is produced in less time than it takes to listen to, it is probably not worth listening to.
Have you ever tried producing a track within a DAW? There's a LOT more work involved than your simple mind could comprehend buddy.
Come back to the thread once you've created synths, got the EQ right so they sit well with other instruments, compose an instrumental piece consisting of leads, basslines, pads, fx, drums (which is equally as hard as composing for any other 'real' instrument, the computer does not help you write music) and finally mixed and mastered your track.
Hint: The BPM generally stays the same so that DJs can mix your track easier
