Indica, at least I think.
I don't know if it's just because I smoke with long-time smokers who roll FAT joints, but I find the sensation of your thoughts being extremely clear (as if they are reality) to be discomforting, and the constant overlapping of reality sucks. Crazy confusion and serious de-realization just isn't what I look for in a high.
Though I have had other sativa highs that were very enjoyable. Energetic and happy, everything seems a bit brighter. I remember walking to a store just as I was starting to feel the full effects, and once I got inside the change of ground from concrete to smooth tile felt amazing on my feet, almost like the ground was pushing up at me. Then I got home to find a shipment of Klip Dagga had arrived, and I spent a good 5 minutes excitedly trying to open it as everything seemed colourful and warm.
Still, though, I prefer a nice stoned feeling, just feeling lazy and slow but at the same time relatively clear-headed. No intrusive mindfucking. I had an indica high once where my body felt like it was shifting back and forth quickly, and I kept mistaking hair in my eyes for mist. I also got a huge grin on my face that got so intense it locked my face muscles for a few seconds, quite painful but quite funny.
assuming you don't have any connections to get some cheap weed off, €10,- a gram.
Is that the flat rate or do you get it cheaper if you buy more at once?
Hey by the way i heard a rumour that tourists are no longer legally allowed to just walk into a coffee shop and buy what they want, 'This true? Because if it is, it's going to fuck up my plans for the coming summer.
they are going to implement that law in 4 years i believe. I remember a news link in DD about it.
I'm not so sure about coffee shops, since I don't use them very often, only if I want a strain I can't get cheaper with some personal connections(cheap is €200,- for 100g of, for example, white widow).
but since those connections don't grow savita's, when I want one, I just get some 10g of a savita, and be happy with it.
to be fair, I never really tried to buy in some massive amount of weed at a coffee shop.
HOLY SHIT FUCK I am so jealous of you man, thats the same amount a fucking ounce costs me!

don't say that, you mean very much to me OutOfPop
op should note the easiest way to tell if your weed is sativa or indica is the density of the bud.
sativa is very light and fluffy, and breaks apart easy so if you've got some in a bag and carry it around with you it'll tear itself apart
indica is very dense and heavy, it's built like a brick shithouse, you can put it in your wallet or smoosh it all you want and it'll still stay together.
[editline]25th October 2011[/editline]
also i prefer hybrid, or indica if i can get my hands on a latte. i agree with the people who say they don't like how indica wears them out, but i still prefer it over sativa, especially with a couple shots of espresso.
but a nicely balanced hybrid for me is the way to go.

Added to OP.
i bet you can't but next time put an option for hybrid in.
it's my personal favorite cause it's got some cannabidol in it which is an anti psychotic which is found in indica so i'm pretty stable on it. that and it brings the best of both worlds to the table. you've got the energy to do things but you're still relaxed with that nice stoned body high.

I just didn't add it because hybrid is a very broad term. I too like hybrids best, but really, hybrids can be anything from a very sativa like mindfucking high, to a super-mellow chilled out indica like high.
It might also be nice to give a mention to the lesser known "Ruderalis".
Cannabis Ruderalis: Cannabis ruderalis is a variety of cannabis that grows wild in parts of Eastern Europe and Russia. It is characterized by its early flowering, with some plants starting irrespective of the photo-period. Cannabis ruderalis is ideal for cultivation in cooler climates and areas where conditions are harsh.
http://blog.dopies.com/marijuana-horticulture/11/Cannabis-Varieties---Sativa,-Indica,-and-Ruderalis
isn't it complete bammer bud though?

i'd put it there for the in-between variety

Meh, Still beats the local prices and quality.

Looks like its mostly used for industrial purposes. I don't really see a need to mention it.

Poor little Rudey... always left out :( I feel bad.
i never would have guessed it would have been this close.

Ruderealis is not usually used on its own, however it is interbred with sativas, indicas, and hybrids because of it's autoflowering traits. It is always guaranteed to flower after a certain amount of days, regardless of the amount of light it is exposed to.
But by itself its nearly useless as a drug.

My mom likes ruderealis because she doesn't like getting "too high". One hit of merch sends her into the skies, so she feels she can monitor her high much better that way.
And on the note of autoflowering and crossbreeding, it also helps stand up to cold weather better (given that it's a Russian born plant).

It does have a decent amount of cannabinoids in it but it barely has any THC though.
It does have a decent amount of cannabinoids in it but it barely has any THC though.
I wonder if that would be any bad to get high-ish off of? If you just wanted the medical effects/relaxation, etc. without the trippy psychedelic effects that you get from high-THC weed. No idea though, just speculation.
Sativa because it's better for anxiety and other mental disorders which apply to me. I also like cerebral highs more than a body buzz.

Isn't indica supposed to be better for anxiety than sativa though?
Isn't indica supposed to be better for anxiety than sativa though?
No. Indica affects your body more whereas sativa affects you mentally more. Indica is for nausea, pain, etc.

Dunno then, sativas make me worry and shit when indica just mellow me out more and I don't worry as much. It varies I suppose
