Lots of people I know know about the Beatles, but that's probably because I live near Liverpool.
I find the 1988 - 1993 generation of kids these days listen to a lot of The Beatles. I know I do.

Except that The Beatles were famous because they were good and they have probably had most influence in music in the past 100 years.
