German Mayor Says Girls shouldnt "provoke" rapists

My intent was not to lable all refugees as rapist. I am sorry if I did so.
Left wing parties want to invite masses of refugees in an attempt to "out-tolerate" other parties and countries. Right wing parties just see droves of cheap unschooled labor five years down the line, so they quietly let the left have its way.
Politicians all live in their ivory towers and personal Utopias. The last time they took a national poll and got an answer they didn't like, they just crumpled the results, threw them away and went through with their plans anyway. People have incredibly short-term memory, so people will vote in parties based on slogans and promises, which get tossed out the window once the party gets into parliament. People get mad for a while, but then they forget and four years later the exact same thing happens again.
Indeed, they already ignored a national referendum once here. I just hope that they won't be getting away with it a second time in April, if it ends up against the interest of the government again. Although that slimy fuck Soros is apparently willing to shrill the media hard-time again in an attempt to make people vote in the interest of the government again.
And yeah, our left wing here is dumping large refugee centers on little towns in the countryside while making extremely sure that their houses and neighbourhoods don't have any refugee centers around them for tens of kilometres. And the majors in those towns tend to be from the left wing party, and don't even have to actually live in the towns where they force refugee centers on. It just shows that they don't give a fuck about our opinion anymore, it is almost like they want people to get fed up with their shit at this point. The dissonance between them and the native population is getting more and more apparent by the day. Although I wonder how things will end up if the Nationalistic party wins the next elections, and if they can still bring any change.
Well, my reasoning for putting rapist in the title was not to refer to all refugees as rapist. Only an idiot would assume so. However, the man was simply showing concern over people who happened to the refugees in a center harassing girls their age from the windows of the facility, and when he asked what would happen if they started attempting to rape them
The Mayor said don't provoke said people. Even though the girls are just walking to school. What the mayor said was unacceptable
I totally agree with the mayor saying that is fucking dumb as shit, anyone knows that.
And I also totally agree only an idiot would assume all refugees are rapists. I'm seeing a lot of idiots, coming with that though.
It's good that the people aren't standing for these kinds of responses. Hopefully when their next elections roll around they'll elect someone with reasonable stances on this refugee situation.
[sp]Also, I think the perma for Rumbler us dumb and that removing his threads are even dumber. He rarely flamed or shitposted as frequently as some of his opponents. He wasn't always right, but at least you could debate him. [/sp]
Apparently posting about something you care about is permabannable
Anyway, I do have to say that the issue with the refugees is blown way out of proportion but the fact is the issue is still there, and retards (especially in government) victim blaming are doing nothing but making it worse.
Tbh BDA is way to opinionated to even be a facepunch mod
The percentage of our government spendings on refugees is extremely small, it's our dumbass government that keeps cutting from shit like elderly care for no reason.
Want to know why they screwing with the elderly care? It because they need to make cuts and know the elderly can't fight back.Think that bad? Look up eminent domain abuse concerning the elderly when you can.
Want to know why they screwing with the elderly care? It because they know the elderly can't fight back.Think that bad? Look up eminent domain abuse concerning the elderly when you can.
Not just that they can't fight back, but the point of doing so is also nullified when they might actually die while fighting.
Not just that they can't fight back, but the point of doing so is also nullified when they might actually die while fighting.
The point still stand. Those in office have become predatory and only pick on the weak. Why should they be concerned about any one who is not a threat to them?
Literally every person from Germany and the Netherlands I've spoken to on the matter hate those immigrants coming in and being coddled while the actual citizens are treated like second class citizens.
You're bringing up the "Why aren't they helping the homeless instead?" argument. And it's wrong because even if we didn't have the immigrants nobody would care about the homeless anyway. Problems like homelessness and underfinanced schools and all that stuff didn't just appear as soon as some immigrants crossed the border. I get that people are unhappy with their current government. But most of them apparently still make the mistake of confusing correlation with causation.
Tbh BDA is way to opinionated to even be a facepunch mod
He should just stay out of threads which mention refugees. He obviously "can't function here".
He should just stay out of threads which mention refugees. He obviously "can't function here".
Same with anything mentioning police. Can't tell the difference between WWE wrestling moves and a cop grabbing a person.
Hello again the 2 of you. Here for the damage control and changing the subject again? But yea sure you're not picking a side right?
He didn't say Girls shouldn't provoke rapists.
He said kids shouldn't provoke refugees who are harassing them from the windows of their housing.

Guy-I have a question regarding the school...
Mayor-Yes
Guy-About physical education in the school gym. My granddaughter, she's under 10 and it also happened in a nearby town, the girls have been harassed by the refugee "children"... The asylum seekers... and they get harassed from the windows (of the shelter) and things like that. How will this be in the summer? When the school girls wear less clothing...
Mayor-That's easy just don't provoke them and don't walk in these areas.(later)Well, it's technically not necessary for the girls to walk there. There are alternative routes for going to school.
1) He said girls shouldn't provoke the asylum seeker children BY WALKING IN THAT AREA. You think those girls who get harassed stand at the fence and throw insults at them so they can get harassed or what?
2) Why the fuck do you keep saying "kids"? Both the guy asking the question and the mayor were talking about GIRLS specifically. Why do you keep pretending this is about german kids going to the shelter and verbally I guess provoking the refugees?
3) And why pretend that the harassment has nothing to do with gender of those who get harassed?
Last thread you posted walls of posters and proof that the guy asking the question doesn't care about the girls, he just wants to spread his agenda, seems like you two would get along.

Literally every person from Germany and the Netherlands I've spoken to on the matter hate those immigrants coming in and being coddled while the actual citizens are treated like second class citizens.
You're bringing up the "Why aren't they helping the homeless instead?" argument. I think what he meant by second class citizens is that when refugees will harass citizens in a certain part of town then the solution to that problem is to stop going to that place by the citizens and not to somehow stop the refugees from harassing citizens. Like it's their right and nothing can be done about it. Like citizens have to adapt to refugees and not the other way around.
He didn't say anything about the homeless. You are imagining things. Again.
To be honest yeah i think so, kids do that shit.
And it's a grandfather asking about his kids????
Do you think he switches subject from his <10 Granddaughter to Women in general within two sentences?
3) And why pretend that the harassment has nothing to do with gender of those who get harassed?
I'm not pretending anything. Tbh. I wasn't even thinking about it.
To be honest yeah i think so, kids do that shit.
Wooooow. Holy fucking shit. So wait. You are actually claiming that the girls who the guy and mayor were talking about went to the shelter, verbally provoked the refugees and that's why they got harassed from the windows? Yeah sure they are the ones to blame and totally deserved it.
You're making shit up and victim blaming just so your precious refugees stay without a fault. What the fuck is wrong with you?
I thought you said the mayor is an idiot for saying something like that but it seems you fully support it now. Really shows how honest you were in the last thread. Like I said, you and the neonazis you talked about in lengths in the last thread have something in similar, you just want to further your agenda on the expense of little girls. Do you lack ANY sort of self awareness?
And it's a grandfather asking about his kids????

He didn't switch shit. The entire time they are both talking about school girls and the granddaughter happens to be one of those school girls. What are you talking about?
I'm not pretending anything. Tbh. I wasn't even thinking about it.
Oh come on.
How the fuck aren't you pretending anything? The mayor and the guy are talking about GIRLS being harassed. Yet every single time you say "kids" not girls. And pretend that it's not specifically girls who are being harassed but kids in general.
I'm honestly just waiting for BDA to notice the wrongthink in this thread and delete and permaban the original poster

It doesn't matter what you think. While it also can include immunity from persecution, usually class systems are brought to highlight disparity in wealth. German law applies still applies to everyone living in Germany.

Wait it doesn't matter what I think he mean but you're gonna still keep on talking about the wealth when the guy you replied to haven't said a single word about it?
You might be the most hypocritical person I have ever seen.

The more you keep pissing and moaning about the mean old mods instead of sticking to the thread topic, the better the chance that I'll ban you. <:o)

Was there a point to posting that? You're derailing the thread more. Just ban them ffs.

I like how you completely ignored the 2nd sentence in my post which stated why I did do just that. Anyway, I'll stop talking to you know.

Just because he used the word "class" doesn't mean he's talking about the wealth class system. He said second class citizen. That basically means "less important". There's nothing about wealth in his post.
You can't just insert an argument that you want because someone used a word that would be relevant to your argument in different context. You're unbelievable.
Maybe instead of stopping replying to someone calling out your strawmen you should stop making shit up.
Speak of the devil
But I'd rather not get banned for wrongthink so back on topic:
Drag the migrants who rape kids and beat them, that's how justice should be served to prooved rapists

no it's not
[editline]4th February 2016[/editline]
also the word is convicted
and in case you meant proven, yeah, it's "proven"

hold the phone, weren't you the guy who kept going into threads about rape just to say obvious shit like "girls shouldn't go into risky areas" or "girls shouldn't walk around cities in bikinis"? you used to compare it to keeping your car locked and get really indignant when people said almost all women already knew that, or that sometimes they didn't have any other option.

Those twitter posts are blaming the victim, but they never the less raise good points that are so often ignored because "victim blaming". Saying someone who was mugged should have never left their house is not really comparable (most people need to leave their house, it isn't optional); a better example would be saying someone who was mugged shouldn't have taken a shortcut through a shady part of town, or a dark alley, because those are optional choices made for some gain versus some risk.
Making such observations isn't about blaming the victim though, it's about informing them how to better protect themselves. More to the point; life isn't fair, (per your example) you have to make a choice between having fun and putting yourself more at risk to be exploited or not.
Also, relying on educating people about something which should be common sense is only going to fail (which isn't to say it shouldn't be done, just that it isn't something to rely on). More generally, you can't rely on people doing the right thing; doing so is naive at best. There's a reason we lock our doors, close our drapes, put passwords on our accounts, etc...
Don't go that road. I've had this discussion here few times and it's impossible for these people to understand that being responsible for increasing (or not decreasing) your chances of being hurt and being responsible for the crime itself are separate things.
you even supported the idea that women should take less dangerous alternate routes while completely ignoring how doable that actually is, exactly like the mayor did. so is the mayor an idiot or was he just "informing them how to better protect themselves"? spoilers, it's the first one.
You might be the most hypocritical person I have ever seen.
Maybe he has evolved into more consistent beliefs?
Or maybe he only cares about victims if the perpetrators are foreign. Let's find out!

Isn't it a little different for a regular guy to talk about common sense to protect yourself compared to a person in charge, like a mayor shrugging off the problems?
It's good that the people aren't standing for these kinds of responses. Hopefully when their next elections roll around they'll elect someone with reasonable stances on this refugee situation.

BDA basically censored him. Considering modern climate, its ironically stupid.
Moving on, why these people are still in charge of their respective governments, i am absolutely clueless. Is there any mechanism in democracy which, given enough attention from citizens, may be exercised to remove certain political figures from their chairs if deemed incompetent and/or untrustworthy?
I have considered Germany to be one of the best (in all regards considered) country in Europe, but this late shitshow made me lose all respect for it.

he was specifically deriding the value of the mayor's advice. i'm just pointing out a discrepancy with that. is the advice useful or isn't it?

You are twisting what I've been saying with your cute quotes about bikinis and shit but yea I did support taking precautions like carrying mace and not going to the fucked up place of town at night. There's a little difference tho.
I'm not a city official saying that the solution to the problem is not going to that part of town. You take precautions WHILE the cause of the problem is being fixed. I said that teaching about consent in sex ed is a good idea. And it's city's official's job to make sure your citizens are safe. So you might avoid a certain part of town WHILE the city officials are working on making it safe. This mayor doesn't want to do that. The "advice" is a solution, he doesn't want to tackle the cause of the harassment.
If the mayor said: "We are aware of this and we are doing this and that to make it stop, meanwhile as it hasn't been fixed yet, you might want to avoid them if possible." I would agree with him and I would defend him if people would be saying he's victim blaming. Except that didn't happen and he really is victim blaming because he said they are provoking the harassment with their prescience. See the difference?
Do you think city officials are not working on integrating migrants? That's what the pro-Asylum people are promoting all the time after all and we are spending a good sum of money on education and integration programes.
