For me it's a bit different.
Yes, it's a pretty solid album by NIN. NIN through and through. But somehow it didn't leave that of "wow, this is a great album" feel for me. I didn't feel emotional attachment to any of the songs, so for me it's an album with couple classy tunes by NIN, but nothing mind blowing.

That's how I felt when I listened to it the first couple of times, but now after 8 listens or so I love it.
I'm not too into it now, but i'm sure when i hear the songs live in october i'll love the album. Thats what happened with the latest Muse Album.
I'm going to the first show of the tour, I'm so psyched.
The album is spectacular. Hate the song "everything" though.
Almost sounds like another ARG at the end of Black Noise , you can almost hear an indistinguishable trent
I like Everything, and Black Noise is easily one of my favorite parts of the album, no clue why.
Glad I'm not the only one who loved Black Noise. I just wish it was a bit more drawn out.
I'd love to hear more songs like The Eater of Dreams.
I don't know why, but Trent has always been fantastic at making spooky ambient noises. I swear to god a Silent Hill game (that's competent) with him making the soundtrack would be amazing.

The music from Quake is a great example of what I'm talking about.

I'm hoping he partners up with ID Software again for work on Doom 4. That's just a pipe dream though.

"Everything" is alright I just can't stand the "I surviiiiiiiiiiii-eiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiived" it sounds like he shouldn't be trying that hard
I wasn't able to listen to the four song live EP what the hell.

I listened to it with the Spotify client just fine.

It does make me feel queasy hearing Trent sing like that, but the rest of the song - especially the chorus - is quite dark and leaves me feeling a little unhinged, like a NIN song should.

Yeah, i agree. the rest of the song is kickass
holy shit all time low is so groovy

Not only all time low, but he's gone the same way in "find my way" and "various methods of escape" , not to mention I fucking LOVE how trent throws the guitar bits at the last chorus of "while i'm still here" it sounds so fucking good
I'm finding myself not listening to Came Back Haunted all too much because I listened to it so much when Trent released it as a single :v:

That and there are a lot better songs on that album then that.
Trent and his wife on the set of Game of Thrones. I wonder what this could be about.

I haven't watched that show in a long time, but if they start having Trent make the soundtrack I'd never miss another episode again.
Sorry to ruin your guys' boners but they just visited the set in Belfast

fuck.yes.
That was the best concert I've ever been to. You could tell Trent put everything he had into the production and it turned out perfect.
