No, it was confirmed in an article posted in the general discussion thread that thats the tutorial level.

I didn't say that's a bad thing. I love Manhunt too.
"Wait, they're making a new game in my favorite franchise? Cool. Wait they're adding new things?
HOLY SHIT THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE SO AWFULEJ KDCXLND.LJNB ,MBJTKDNB"
They're also removing old things that made the games great. Well that's the fear at least, i'm still trying to stay optimistic.
I don't remember anything from the video that said that they were going to remove old things.

They didn't. They said that all the things that "hardcore" Hitman fans like will stay.

07:50 in the OP video.
The game adds Instict mode, if you are new to the Hitman series you can enable this option that highlights important object, helps you killing/sneaking behind people and more.
They removed nothing, they showed us only a demo level and all we know now is that there is a cover system and some other small details like that Jasper Kyd is not making the OST.
There is seriously nothing to worry about, the game is far from its releasing (Summer 2012 i think)

So everyone is totally bitching about shit that they made up
I think they haven't understood what 'hardcore' gamer means... I don't want the game to be difficult as fuck. And I don't think newer games are or should be easier than older ones. I just don't want the game to do shit for me. Part of the fun always was the trial and error thing. These days its all like 'Oh, are you low on health? Here, it comes back, so you don't need to try again' 'Oh, you can't see an object? Here, they are all shiny so you don't have to search'. And especially in Hitman trial and error is a huge part of the challange. I don't want to just pop in and know how to avoid the guards by seeing their fucking paths. I want to try out until I figure the right pattern. Thats where the 'game' part happens. Everything else is just the reward for having it figured out. And I don't want to be only rewarded by a game. Oh, but thats where it gets 'hardcore', right? The game will be hard as fuck without Instinct, since it is ballanced for it. Like they said, instinct will be unavailable for the hardest difficulties. I don't want it hard. I just want to figure shit out myself. And jes, it happens on the map. You know like you do planning. On a plan. Not by seeing through walls.

Well, everyone is saying its Splinter Cell because you can hide behind shit

Facepunch for you.
I'm perfectly fine with the cover system. In earlier hitman games when your cover was blown there wasn't even a point in hiding behind a wall. if you tried to shoot from it you would just be hit and die. So the cover system is alright. I also like how he used the bust to take out the police officer. The 2 main things that worries me now is that: 1. I don't get to blend in as I'm used to in hitman games. 2. Is the "tactical" map really taken out?

The trial and error of Hitman was what made the game for me.

Since when could 47 have feelings.

He has no relation, Diana is the only person in the world 47 can trust

He always had feelings, for instance, he cared a lot for Father Vittorio in Hitman 2
