That Civic VTi will beat a Golf Mk3 GTI, stock for stock. The Golf 16v will do 0-60MPH in about 8 seconds, the VTi will do it in 7.2 seconds. Civic is 161hp and the Golf GTI 16v is 148hp. Mk3 GTI is about ~2600 lbs and the civic is about ~2400 lbs. Stock for stock, the Honda will win regardless of the Golf having the 16v or 8v VR6.

Yeah there are small lights that warn you about bad battery charging and too little oil but nothing more than that

Its supposed to be ridiculously simple. That's all you truly need. And they are air cooled, so there is no coolant temperature, because it doesn't exist. Ours has a faulty brake circuit and seatbelt light though (and it detects if there is a passenger! Fancy!)
Oh yeah, ours has a indicator for the high beams though! And the odometer is stuck for an unknown reason, but hey, the speedo works!
