Had to mute the sound, god that guy is annoying.
Then you didn't get the point of the video.
How about you make up your own routine and get it done as well as he did in front of several hundred people?
Are you saying that I shouldn't judge something until I've done better?
"This guy isn't a LEET of a magician as I am and isn't as cool as X stage performer 0/10 he sux" missing the whole point of the performance and letting yourself just enjoy it for what it actually is nice
Are you saying that I shouldn't judge something until I've done better?
No. But it's quite easy to say "Yeah, I could do that", of course you can, he's done most of the hard work.

However, this doesn't do any of that.
I'd like to see you do that the way he did.
You don't have to be a chef to know a soup tastes like shit
Weird that a simple video about a man giving information in a fun way is still ruined because people can't stand he is using an iPod or that the trick he did "is not that special at al" Can't you guys enjoy anything?
Weird that a simple video about a man giving information in a fun way is still ruined because people can't stand he is using an iPod or that the trick he did "is not that special at al" Can't you guys enjoy anything?
It had nothing to do with the iPod. I love iPods. It was just a few synchronized videos and a memorized speech and movements. The fact that his 'act' is so easy to take apart makes it not enjoyable. Sure it has a good message and the man obviously needed to rehearse it but I still was unable to find myself amazed or impressed. And just to answer your last question which isn't a very good one at that I can in fact enjoy things like this http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=efb_1314428695 Sorry to ruin the video for you and everyone else with my opinion.
You don't have to be a chef to know a soup tastes like shit
' but you do have to be a chef to know how much effort goes in to making the soup that some jerk 14 year says is shit because he reckons he can do it in a week.
' but you do have to be a chef to know how much effort goes in to making the soup that some jerk 14 year says is shit because he reckons he can do it in a week.
I agree with you why just the other day I marinated a shit stew for 14 days and nobody seemed to appreciate the effort I put into it!
No. But it's quite easy to say "Yeah, I could do that", of course you can, he's done most of the hard work.
It's not even hard work. It's memorizing hand movements and a speech for a five minute act.
Weird that a simple video about a man giving information in a fun way is still ruined because people can't stand he is using an iPod or that the trick he did "is not that special at al" Can't you guys enjoy anything?
It's enjoyable, but neither impressive nor mind-blowing. This is basic magic that, really, anyone can do if they have an idea of what they're doing.
It's not even hard work. It's memorizing hand movements and a speech for a five minute act.
It's coming up with a routine. Seriously, try it now. Come up with a routine that doesn't look like shit and then work on memorising it.
It's coming up with a routine. Seriously, try it now. I have absolutely no artistic talents, but that doesn't mean I can't critique Picasso.
This argument is just like the people who say electronic dance music is a shitty because it doesn't involve playing instruments and therefore is "skilless" and shitty Which is totally silly of a thing to think lol, because its much harder to come up with a good song that really is killer than playing the actual instrument if you know how to.
You don't have to do something to judge something. I have absolutely no artistic talents, but that doesn't mean I can't critique Picasso.
You can't say that something looks incredibly simple when you yourself couldn't do it.
You can't say that something looks incredibly simple
I'm not saying it looks simple. That's the entire point of magic. Deceiving you into thinking that something that is complex, when it is actually quite simple. My point was that this is neither amazing nor mind blowing.
when you yourself couldn't do it.
Almost anyone could do this with very little preparation. The only tricks he uses are hiding things under the iPods, and dropping them at certain times. Everything else is just synced videos, and an incredibly restricting camera angle. And yes, as I said in the quote, you can critique things regardless of your ability to do them.
Okay okay okay here's my take on this shit: Is it amazifuckingly special? Well, no. Is it complicated? Well, no, probably. The synchronization could be learned and you could probably do it yourself too. Is it bad? Well, no. Not in my opinion, at least. It's a good speech, the visuals are pleasing, and it's a bit neat to see the synchronization play out. And it's not like something HAS to be complicated and special to be good.

On the contrary, I actually quite like it. I'm just saying that it's not the most amazing magic out there.

This is quite the contrary.
Go ahead and make your own unique routine then
Go ahead and make your own unique routine then
I don't have to. :v: I don't need to prove myself to you.
Go ahead and make your own unique routine then

dead islands gunna be shit save yourself the money
So how many video games have you made
' but you do have to be a chef to know how much effort goes in to making the soup that some jerk 14 year says is shit because he reckons he can do it in a week.
When did he say anything about being able to do it? Let alone in a week? You clearly do not understand what I said. In simple terms, you don't have to be able to do it to know it's not very good. You can put all the effort you like into a picture, say, but someone can still come along and call it shit. It's opinion, but I'm not saying I thought it was bad.
' but you do have to be a chef to know how much effort goes in to making the soup that some jerk 14 year says is shit because he reckons he can do it in a week.
you can put all the effort in the world towards something but if the end result is shitty then it's a piece of shit like if I went through crazy planning to ultimately have myself sitting in a chair well I'm sitting in a chair and who gives a shit
All the whiners just refuse to be deceived.
This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen
This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen
Then you my friend, have not been out much.
jesus christ who cares if it's ipods or 42" lcd monitors
I'd be pretty damned impressed if someone could manage to do that with 42" monitors.
I'd be pretty damned impressed if someone could manage to do that with 42" monitors.
I could imagine him sticking a little butterfly to a 42 inch lcd and the audience trying to see it through their screen on one of his 3 screens. Also he does do this sort of stuff with tvs, I watched all the videos on his channel a couple years ago.
All the whiners just refuse to be deceived.
Yes, this topic of how great this act is has brought me to tears.
