I beg to differ.
Well good for you, go listen to your songs about hoes and being a thug
For people that disagree that rap is shit, post a meaningful rap song.
..What's wrong, cant find one? :downs:
Eminem doesn't talk about materialism. He talks about meaningful shit like recovering from drug abuse and sticking hamsters up your ass.

Tupac - Dear mama
Tupac - Life goes on
Rakim - Holy are you
Rakim - Walk these streets
Biggie - Suicidal thoughts
Biggie - Juicy
There are two songs from 3 favorite rappers. I can post more but i'm not going to bother myself with it.
You know, music doesn't need some very deep and complex meaning to be a good song. 90% of the song is how it sounds and how it flows. I plenty of metal songs where the only meaning to it fighting someone else, that doesn't mean that the song is bad.
why does everyone hate rap on these forums jesus christ....

This has some really good lyrics.
Drake is mostly just pop so it's whatever in my mind, and Eminem is probably the best technical rapper I've ever heard.

Oh man, Aries Spears is a great impersonator.
In his Eminem part there was one part where it sounded like him back in his Slim Shady LP album. But the rest of the Eminem part was not even close.
