Being an Uncle is awesome. You can sit your Nephews down and watch Batman cartoons and other stuff that their mother doesn't want them watching and then you get in trouble when half a year later they call your sister Catwoman for fun and want to watch Star Wars.
Being an uncle has its perks. My niece knows me as 'Mr. Jingles' for some reason though.
My experience of being regarded as an uncle (Because my little cousins don't understand how an age gap doesn't mean a generation gap) is that I can make any excuse to go play board games with their parents.
My parents have already jumped to the conclusion that im the younger, drunk uncle of the family that would spend a whole day feeding my niece sweets and sugar and leaving the E-numbered, hyped up child for my brother to look after :v:
How safe is it for me to walk around with a dslr on a neck strap all day long?
Well from what everyone on here's been saying, being an uncle sounds like a right old walk in the park. I think I can manage watching cartoons and eating sweets all day. I've also promised to make a cot for when the little sprog arrives, should be a laugh to build.
He means he's visiting London, and wants to know if its safe to walk around with it without being mugged.
i've walked around london with a 6d on a sling in some places, probs better to keep it in your bag (like in any city in any place) until you need it but if you're touristing just go for it.

Replacement apples. I just don't know, I've met her a few times. She often came across as one of those indignant, victim types who ask to speak to managers.
