I bought a couple of Ethereum last month for £77. Never heard of em until my mate said about them, and i dismissed bit coins before they went nuts and didn't want to miss out again. Felt like buying magic beans
My coins (?) are now worth a whopping £87. I'm gonna be rich
I got ID'd for an energy drink in poundland when I was like 20, I said 'I didnt realize you had to be a certain age to buy them' and the oldish woman behind the till said something along the lines of 'yeah its 16 so that kids dont go drinking loads of them and start raping each other or something'
I bought a PCGamer mag a while back when I was younger and got a stern look from the woman behind the till. "Now don't you get any idea's and start acting out your games".
Alright pal, I'm not gonna gather an army of Romans and conquer Europe now am I ye bint

I used to buy PCGamer almost every month when I was 13-14 even though the demo disc was a BBFC 18. Then once I went to buy it and the lady had apparently been told by her bosses that actually the BBFC rating wasn't just a suggestion and I had to be over 18. Was devastating
I kinda miss buying gaming mags. I know everyone on the internet hates em ("gamers"), but I've always enjoyed rock paper shotgun cos most of their writers came from PCG. Most gaming press is incredibly dry and dull, nothing more than PR regurgitaters but RPS had funny and well written stuff.
I think the humour has been lost as mags have moved online, all of the ones I used to buy were quite good. PC Gamer, PC Zone and the Official Playstation Mags were all good reads, quite funny, never took themselves or the business seriously

Was looking at buying some cryptocurrency stuff. How easy was it to buy Ethereum?
Fairly easy, I used coin base. The hardest part was verifying my ID. Oddly it wouldn't accept good quality photos from a proper camera or a scan but it happily accepted a blurry photo from my phone. Takes about 5-10 minutes to do
I still kick myself for ignoring bitcoins when they were around £60 a piece in 2013. That said I'm not sure how easy it was to get into then
I completely missed out on the bitcoin wave. By the time I had even heard of it the price of a bitcoin was in the hundreds. It's trying to find the next big 'thing' though.

I still get the Official Playstation Magazine on occasion when their publishers have offers.
Usually like 3 issues for £3, instead of £6 each.
Still as good as they always were.
Ordered 5 issues for £5 from their Easter Sale. Great toilet reads tbh.

That was my reasoning for investing, they're currently at around £45 a piece which I think is the highest they've ever been, annoyingly they were less than a tenner a couple of months ago. I don't really understand it, or economics in general so I don't want to give poor advice but I can't imagine them going down massively, if you work and you've got £50 knocking about it's worth a punt. Look at it as a days pay or something
I don't place bets/gamble so this is I suppose my alternative to that

I don't even have a playstation, but I'll have a look. Is that through future publishing's website
(rated you dumb by mistake, struggling to change it on mobile)

Just a tip for you both, if you're buying Bitcoins/Altcoins as an investment then it more than likely isn't going to work out how you'd like - so just bear that in mind.
i really wish UK would call out USA more like USA does to every other country.
like grow some fucking balls dude, you're gonna let us just sit and fart up this continent?
you know you want to become imperial again!!!!!
like one of these:
"hey USA, you fucking suck and you ain't perfect even though u proport to be you're actually the worst world leader ever,

The way we're going, it'll be the pot calling the kettle black. May has a better verbal filter though.

As in I shouldn't get my hopes up?
For me it wasn't really an investment and more lets see what happens. I don't expect to make much money and I'm probably not going to buy any more. I already look at it as money I've pissed away :v:
Hadn't been on Facebook in a while so tried going to my page, wasn't logged in apparently.
Turns out, anything before 2013 is set to public, so I scrolled through. I was a proper cunt in 2011 from my posts.
Luckily they have a one click button to hide legacy posts from public.
Then I went through and deleted everything I posted before 2014.
I ain't letting anyone see my dumb posts.

I disagree. Know the niches and be smart with where you invest, and if you're investing in cryptos you should make a long term portfolio. Something like 50% in BTC, 50% in altcoins. I dumped around £50 into the STRATIS ICO last year I'm sitting on a hefty sum right now but for £50 I'm gonna hold out for a while longer. Monero and Ethereum would probably be smart coins to hold as well.

I've had facebook since about 2009 when I was in year 6/7 and I haven't even bothered going back to my first posts, its so long ago that it tires anyone out going back so far, especially with all the retardation.
Mind, its scary to think I've almost had facebook for a decade

You can literally just click on someones profile, scroll down a bit then it'll pop up with a year selection. I did that on some friends profiles and it was all so bad.
Theresa May gave a speech in one of the most diverse parts of Leeds yesterday, it happened after all the staff had gone home and none of them were invited. I don't actually think she spoke to any residents of Harehills, it was just room of old white suits

I think her not debating was a wise choice on her part. She'd get fucking demolished, even by Corbyn.
I saw someone I used to go to school with working in McDonal's today, but they were doing a good job so I called the place afterwards and told the manager that they were doing a good job even when it was busy.
I also filled in a survey to get a voucher for a meal deal but now I'm paranoid McDonald's are going to sell my information to Russia to target all the best gay porn.

fuck me I read "place" as "police", that was a very different sentence in my head
fuck me I read "place" as "police", that was a very different sentence in my head
to be fair i also called the police and planted drugs in the back room, she tuned me down for the school prom back in the day
So all the chavs in my town have migrated into the woods near where I live now. You basically can't go down there without some form of harassment after 12PM. They're constantly destroying the local golf course, breaking down peoples fences for firewood, and reportedly someone got their bike stolen while riding it down there. Police aren't doing shit about it.
She's my MP :dogcited:
Argyllshire isn't it?

They're like Robin Hood only they steal from the poor and give to the poor and because they're poor too that means they just keep it.
Argyllshire isn't it?
Argyllshire as a constituency hasn't existed since 1983 apparently, according to wiki she's the MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South.

It's a standard pump and dump.
On the 21st the largest darknetmarket (Alphabay) started accepted them.
And every time a new currency comes out, it conveniently rises a little before hand, then explodes in price afterwards for about a week.
Then the guys behind it sell and it drops back to nothing.
