I've been told modafinil just keeps you awake; and doesn't actually promote focus or mindfulness. Is that particularly true? I'm struggling like fuck to revise. In the time spent where I should be knee deep in physics, I've ripped half of my music library, done cable organisation and sorting through genercic bits of tech, have completely re-organised my room including a complete cleandown and repair of my bed, and have written a couple tracks. I can focus, just on anything BUT studying..
Holy shit the Daily Mail just published the greatest article on Theresa May, it's fantastic, here's the highlights:
With a portrait of Churchill staring down at her from the wall of her Commons office, Theresa May does not have to look far for inspiration as she faces her own day of destiny.

The Prime Minister called the Election to rally the nation behind her before she embarks on her own epic European crusade.

Compared to the mammoth task ahead of her during Brexit negotiations, when she will have to grapple with the likes of Merkel and Juncker, seeing off clueless Corbyn looks like swatting a fly.

The Prime Minister also talks candidly about her type 1 diabetes condition, diagnosed in 2012, saying she is adamant it will not hamper her in late-night Brexit talks with EU leaders, vowing she will inject herself with insulin at the table without leaving the room.

Such as? ‘Defence.’ Corbyn says he would not press the nuclear button. Would she? ‘Yes.’ Trump could not have answered more quickly.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4459122/Theresa-twists-stiletto-Corbyn.html The Daily Mail never ceases to amaze, although the comments are surprising. I'd have expected a lot of support from people who comment on this site, but a lot of them have seen through the fact she's just repeating "strong and stable" over and over and over again, rather than offering anything of substance.
The DM makes me depressed, knowing that people knowingly print such shite right wing propaganda, knowing that the people it is marketed towards are the people who will be worse off by their policies
modafinil was good shit for me, makes your puss stink like asparagus though. how's it stand with the psychoactive substances bill now? wouldn't you get fucked if you were caught importing it?
kinda covered under medicines act [editline]29th April 2017[/editline]
I've been told modafinil just keeps you awake; and doesn't actually promote focus or mindfulness. It annoys me that Labour is the most popular party among under 40s, yet the Conservatives will win because Labour is incapable of tapping into that vast amount of support that they have in younger people because they can't energize anyone. The over 60s still dominate politics in this country because they are the only ones who fucking vote, if voting was mandatory I doubt we would have left the EU and I doubt the Tories would have such a high chance of winning the next election. Although, the Tory lead in the polls has been cut down from 20+% to just 11% according to a recent poll. I'm gonna put this down to people realizing that Brexit isn't the only thing that the government will have to do, and that they'll still have to govern the country itself.

I have only one question for any politian, and it's "when are you going to stop". They may interpretate it any way they want to, but no answer means an instant no-vote from me.

strong country? yeah whatever stable country? hardly impressive pal... but a strong and stable country? now we're fuckin talking!
Labour seems to slowly be whittling down that Tory lead, they'll still win for sure, but maybe not as massively as May hoped. A big part of me hopes for a hung parliament rather than an outright victory for anyone, just to watch May realize she fucked up.
In other news, Line of Duty was fantastic. Sad to see it gone from the screen for a while.

Fucks sake she could at least be somewhat funny and confident about it instead of lurking about hunched over like a subterranean creature in its first hour in sunlight. Like a simple tut and eye roll to the camera is so much to ask for from this woman.

Whenever I've used it in the past, I've had intense focus and motivation for whatever task I needed to do. It also elevated my mood and made me quite more optimistic. Makes me shit like a donkey though.

Had both Burger King and McDonald's today because I brought out vouchers for both incase one wasn't open.
Can't wait for this country to be strong [sp]flailing in economic decay[/sp] and stable [sp]political system on the verge of collapse due to mass uncertainty of what the future holds[/sp] come June!
Know what else is strong and stable? Cattle! May's hinting at her plan to turn the UK population into soylent green for the rest of the world!

got my first proper job now how do I go about moving out to rent a flat? what should I be looking out for?
I don't know how far through the process you are or your circumstances, and this may sound obvious but take a look at your earnings and have a serious think about how much of it you think you can afford. Have a look in your area on right move, get a good idea of what you want. It's much easier with websites like rightmove these days. I'm hoping to buy this year
You need to work out how much you'll be earning, work out your outgoings and give yourself some breathing space too in case of any unexpected bills etc. As for checking any potential flats, make sure the basics are ok (no mould/dampness, doors look reasonably secure, appliances like taps, boiler, hob, shower are in working order etc). There are probably checklists you can get online somewhere.
got my first proper job now how do I go about moving out to rent a flat? what should I be looking out for?
where you looking for? as long as you've got a enough to eat and have some money to treat yourself on the side, you're all good I'd say. I'm working at Canary Wharf atm and getting ass blasted with how much flats cost in the area. Have ended up moving back home till I've got some savings in.

She's frowning because there are still people who aren't.
got my first proper job now how do I go about moving out to rent a flat? what should I be looking out for?
Why do you need to move out

I don't know why, but this picture of Theresa May eating chips disturbs me [editline]3rd May 2017[/editline] Is it the face? Or the the fact that the chips are in a polystyrene cup? [editline]3rd May 2017[/editline] Also why the fuck don't they sell 12.5g's anymore :frown:
