If there isn't a coordinated movement to vote tactically (and I mean something proper, like an actual formal alliance), it will most likely end up having the opposite effect. The Conservatives have gained massively from UKIP's semi-intentional collapse, and even though Corbyn's Labour is polling about the same as Miliband's did last year, we're still set for a blue landslide unless people massively unite behind one party.

There is though.

How do I stop one of the Assistant Headteachers sending out meme based emails? I have a whole inbox folder dedicated to shitty emails from staff and I don't think it can hold any more from him.

wow imagine if they actually believed in their policies!
Do you have anything against this though? Maybe people who don't check Facebook anywhere near enough as you could do with the coddling into registering.
nah, it just becomes redundant after a while

What are they even aiming for here? People who are against Farage probably won't go Tory anyway, the poster just reassures UKIP and Brexit supporters that the Conservatives deserve their votes.

Yeah, seems like a counter-productive advert.
it is funny how pro-labour the 'independent' is getting, but even still that doesn't equate to the amount of papers and outlets against corbyn
Pretty much every paper except the 3 mentioned above have been reprinting the conservative manifesto disguised as journalism for weeks now. It's actually kind of disgusting how biased they've gotten, I used to have respect for the impartiality of the media in this country but even the BBC is drinking the kool-aid now.

Yeah I hate how the kool-aid media are swallowing everything the Conservative party says, I mean look at how these Tory papers constantly show the Conservatives in a positive light:

Take me with you
Finnish exchange student R-327957 has left work placement without permission from The Right Honorable Lady Regent's High Court. Plymouth bus teams have been dispatched to your location to forcefully return you for three hundred (300) hours of unpaid IT technician work.
Had to call 101 this morning.
Some complete dickhead drove down my road and ran into my neighbour's car, 18 years old and drunk. He still tried to "push" it down the road to get away but the whole front wheel assembly had just broken apart :v:
Cop slapped the irons on him after blowing an .83
Fucking kids man.

I see the same Canary and Independent articles over and over again - and it is always the same people sharing them.
the canary should actually become a proscribed organisation imo

Ruuuuuudddeee
Labour 9 points behind Conservatives apparently, let's go boys. Labour isn't actually weaker than usual this election, it's the Tories being stronger than usual. I don't get why people are saying Labour are doing worse than in 2015, when they are actually doing about the same in terms of predicted vote share. I know they'll lose seats thanks to the Tory spike, but they won't lose votes.
there's still a few weeks to go, and i would absolutely love it if something came in from a complete left field to fuck over the tories - that would teach them a lesson for having the gall to hold an election now

.083 or .83?
Because the latter is the measurement a coroner would read.

the national debt was 1.7 trillion though - i think they messed up with the comma

Yeah, unfortunately most people don't realise that though. Aside from that, the 2016 GDP was ~£2.185 trillion, which means debt was only 79% of GDP - not 89%.
That graphic is literally *fake news*

when i typed in "UK national debt" into google it says 89%, the source apparently being Eurostat

someone I was pals with in college has decided to become a communist. he keeps randomly posting statuses like "if Jeremy Corbyn was as anti-war as he makes out, he wouldn't stay in a party fit for imperialism." as well as protesting outside the Guardian newspaper building calling them "right-wing fascists".
what did he mean by this?
[editline]21st May 2017[/editline]
my personal fave:
"You're less of a Labour supporter and more of a sheep, if you read into the history of the party and the shit they're still doing to this day, you'd be more eerie to preach them from the rooftops"
this guy studies creative writing at uni and he doesn't know what eerie means

That's 2015. Calculate it for yourself:

Obviously he doesn't understand old labour and new labour. Calling the Guardian of all newspapers fascists is my fave tho :v: I wish there was the laughing crying face emoji
You guys got any ideas for short term work?
I live in a rural area of Scotland and I have recently been accepted into a Dutch university but I need a job for 2 months and no-one wants me.
Come down to Manchester and I'll pay you for oral
It's honest work for honest money

Don't tell them you're off to uni, just say you're "figuring things out" or something, if they know you're not staying they wont hire you.

This was my initial plan, but in this kinda community everyone knows each other's business. Doesn't help that my mother is the local counsellor.
