Wenger is shite. I'm fairly sure, that even when Arsene reaches his deathbed Alan Shearer will be on MOTD telling everybody to calm down, he can still do a job. "Remember the invincibles", Shearer will say as Wenger finally descends into the realm of the dead and Arsenal go on to hire Steve McClaren
So you saw that ludicrous display last night?
that's the thing about arsenal. they always walk it in.

Idk if anyone here would know but it's worth asking:
I recently discovered in my (small) town's cemetery that a British veteran of WWI is buried. However, the grave is commemorated with an American flag. Does anyone here know what the proper procedure for commemorating British Veterans graves is? Symbols etc... to use. I'd guess at least Poppies would be acceptable but I'd like to be sure first.
yeah, poppies

My town has a fair share of WW1 Graves, usually wreaths of poppies is accurate.

Anyone watch BBC's six o'clock news today? Getting tired of their blatant political biases. The top story was that Jeremy Corbyn couldn't remember some figures in an interview, but really the whole thing was exaggerated and there was no mention of last night's debate. No mention of how Theresa May did either, or that the Conservatives haven't got the costs in their manifesto. Just a lightly scathing report on how some people are beginning to question her leadership, followed by her saying "strong and stable" twice then slagging off Jeremy Corbyn. Laura Kuenssberg is a bad crab.

It's well known her real name is actually Laura Cuntssberg and the C in BBC stands for Conservative.

To be fair it was the biggest political news of the day: it was a slow news day and it was the only interesting thing that happened. Theresa May, on the other hand, said a whole load of non-consequential guff - and the BBC is hardly going to put that at the top o the 6 o'clock news.
When Theresa May screws up they make that their top story too - cf. Social Care disaster.

I can't actually tell whether you're being sarcastic or serious
(This election has broken my ability to detect sarcasm online honestly - so much stuff that I think is sarcastic is actually people being serious)
I'd be voting Labour but I am right in the middle of SNP SCOTLAND FOREVER territory. They only seem to care about painting Ruth Davidson as Satan tho, no mention of Labour as far as I have seen.
Still, if the Conservatives even just lose their majority I am counting it as a small victory.
My last election in the UK before I move so I hope it's a good one.

My old university had pretty decent halls but they were like £550 pm and were stone cold.
On the plus side could keep drinks in the room in winter and they would stay chilled. :v:
Ikea?
Already checked, there aren't any similar :(

Are there drinking games or bingo cards for the election debate tonight? I think I've heard all parties use the word 'strong' seven times in the space of 9 minutes. Shit, make that 9 in 10.

That debate was a sound fucking for the Conservative party. Corbyn wasn't at his best, but Amber Rudd was pretty damn dreadful.
"Judge us on our record" was the best bit of TV I've seen in years.
Did anyone else spot Tim Farron's little hop off the stage at the end

I think I'm one of those people that need a lot of darkness to sleep which is why this summer season is making it hard to sleep because the sun never sets on the British Empire.
