Well, it may be more useful to some who are thickos like me who haven't memorised all that.
fuck the tone of the thing I posted was way different to what I intended, I came off as some sort of know-it-all cunt. I meant it like, I'd love a website that re-worded policies and jumbled them up more than just copy+paste from the manifestos. I haven't memorized the ENTIRE manifestos, but there are a lot of things in there that are just dead giveaways like "re-nationalize the rail services" and things like that. The program is useful to an extent, but when you have things in there like that, you can sorta tell which is which, which sort of negates the usefulness of it when you know which policy set is which parties.

So long as you pick the policies you agree with it shouldn't skew the results too badly.
This weather is driving me crazy. It's too cloudy and overcast to go sit in the sun and get a decent tan, but it just so happens that when I'm driving, the clouds are gone. So I've got a really deeply tanned right arm from when I'm driving, whilst my left arm is not as tan. It looks super goofy.

You're telling me people don't want to start a 3rd world war, ending life as we know it?

Look, we need a preemptive strike on Iran, regardless of whether or not they actually have nukes or a delivery system. :hammered:

Don't know if they're in distress or if they're just trying to be smart....
Just want to pop in and say I hope all of you guys and your loved ones are all safe after today.
Stay strong and sassy lads, don't let this shit get you down. Fuck the terrorists
All my loved ones are safe, but it makes me sick to my stomach. It's pretty much tradition for a friend and I to rent a city bike and cycle over London Bridge whenever I visit him. I've visited him many times over the summer in previous years, and it kills me that these acts are becoming so prevalent, that I'm having to sit there and worry about potential places I want to go.
Like last year when I was planning a holiday, I was looking at Germany and France, and was worried about terror acts, to the point where I almost didn't go. But then I decided "Fuck it, I'm not going to let them win by having their fear control my life". I wish they'd just fuck off.
My next job centre appointment is on the same day the vote is here and I'm not convinced that it's unintentional.

Contact your council and let them know, arrangements can be made. Or you can vote by post?
Contact your council and let them know, arrangements can be made. Or you can vote by post?
I'll find the time to do both. I'm mostly being silly. The nearest polling station is, like, 2 minutes away.

Better pack a lunch for the 30 hour jobsearch you'll find yourself roped into.

"you've got to do 32 hours a day job search with it all video taped and witnessed by 2 people"

"I see here you have not applied for any of the openings with the armed forces, tut tut"
Job Centres are the worst, a long time ago when I was on JSA there was a fortnight where I just applied for every job I found that I thought I might be able to do, even stupid ones where I probably had a 1% chance of even getting a call/email back.
Come in to the meeting and my advisor says she wants me to apply for twice as many by the next meeting. Went home and called up to cancel my JSA. Luckily I was in a position to be able to just cancel it there and then and scrounge off my parents till I got a job. That was marginally better than getting sanctioned by them and having to scrounge anyway.
They also tried to make me work full time at some company (unpaid apart from getting money back for the bus) and also wanted me to then do my regular job search when I got home.
How some lazy people claim it for years and obviously make no effort to get a job is beyond me. Claiming JSA is like getting through an obstacle course that's been designed to be hell.

Make sure to get the application forms signed off by your local Pastor too.
Even the online ones. We want signatures dammit.

Maaaan, I'm seeing those all the time.
So, this is just a bit of an update on that grave I discovered in my town. Had some delightful people on a WWI forum help me out with research and discovered the following about the gentleman
Henry Theodore Couchman served with 4th Staffordshire Battery, 3rd North Midland Brigade, RFA (TF). He joined the Inns of Court OTC as Private (4959) on 19 July 1915 and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on 10 November 1915. His home address at the time was Frogmoor House, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Promoted Lieutenant on 1 July 1917.
As well, it turns out his officer's records are still safe at the National Archives at Kew, although have not yet been digitized and I'll be asking if any members of that forum who can (and do) visit the archives will be able to locate his for me.
Also, a question people here might be able to answer: I'm trying to discover the specific location of "Frogmoor House" as it seems it no longer exists. idk if there's anyone here familiar with the area but it's worth asking. A book from the late 19th century seems to indicate it was a hamlet - although I'm not sure if it was part of "Moor Park" located to the south-east of Rickmansworth.
Between the recent attacks in the UK, and the evacuation of Rock Am Ring in Germany this weekend, I'm really worried about going to Download festival next week. Obviously there's nothing to do apart from continue as normal, remain aware and vigilant, but I'm really anxious about it.

There's a Frogmoor Lane, it's possible the house used to be there and is now one of the cafe's or boathouses etc. It's really not too far from where I live normally and only a few minutes drive from where I'm working all summer.
There's also this which is not too far from Rickmansworth, although I expect it's more likely a house which isn't listed or doesn't exist any more. Also, you sure it's Frogmoor and not Frogmore? There are both in the area.

If I search Frogmoor house near Rickmansworth google maps directs me to the Aquadrome place, it's possible they're the same.

Cheers guys! I'm of the opinion it's most likely Frogmoor Lane, not 100% sure where the gentleman who found that information for me found it, but I'd assume he copied it as it was spelled exactly. I'll be seeing what records my town has of him, I doubt his original address from the UK would be listed but you never know what you'll find.
I didn't pass my probation period, failed it by a hair. Back to Universal credit.
[sp]I'm fucking distraught right now[/sp]
I don't know if I agree with everything Labour's been saying, but I have a lot more trust in them than I do in the Conservatives. I'm 20 and basically my entire politically-involved lifetime has been Conservative-run, and I'm not seeing anything coming from it beyond the country not collapsing. I'm sceptical that the world's fifth-largest economy is hanging by a thread, and I know that Corbyn's wackier policies will have a much harder time getting through Parliament than May's Internet censorship, cuts, and arms deals with Saudi Arabia.
I'm voting Labour or Pirate this week, and Corbyn would have to really drop the ball to make me think I can't vote for him to be PM in the next few days.
