Jezz, how loud does the rain want to be?
Remember to go an vote you wet cunts, no matter which party you support
And remember, if you're voting Conservative the polling stations open tomorrow. :v:
Finished exams, voted, now to cry as the Tories take away my rights.
Finished all my A levels and GCSE resits today!
I went out and voted at 0704 this morning. Labour.
I went out and voted at 0704 this morning. Labour.
As a train man what would your thoughts be on the nationalisation of the rail service Bengley?
As a train man what would your thoughts be on the nationalisation of the rail service Bengley?
amazing, I've never met a man who's part train before
:why: this makes absolutely no sense.
It was a smashing day. One of the Labourers is London-born but Pakistani. He was one of the Tory voters, and he was almost kinda persuasive. "This country gave me a home, cloths on my back, food, water and a living. I love this country", and I felt pretty stirred. Good, rousing patriotism. But then "and Corbyn is going to just let anyone in, this country will be dead this time next year if he gets in. If Corbyn gets Prime Minister I'm moving to Canada". I spent most of the day telling everyone to talk about the Labour landslide that was going to happen overnight. Hope it does or I'll look like a right wally.
Did my bit to ensure the survival of this country and its peoples and voted Labour. Conservatives have always fed people a lie that it is they who really care about the country itself and the British people, but it's they who love to see this country's strategic assets owned by French, Germans and other sorts.
Did my bit to ensure the survival of this country and its peoples and bought party rings.
Always feel like absolute shite in the last couple of weeks of education. On top of all the deadlines, gotta think about how I'm going to spend the next year out of education. Barely got any real life friends as it is so I just hope I don't fall into one of those depressed and isolated mindsets. Gonna be tough but I can't be stuck in education forever.
I've always struggled with motivation when it comes to education and the last few weeks of college dragged out so much for me. especially with the good weather, the urge to say "fuck this" and go for a pint was just too much
As a train man what would your thoughts be on the nationalisation of the rail service Bengley?
If it's managed properly and run efficiently like the Intercity East Coast franchise was when it was run by the government from 2009 to 2015, it will be great and passengers will see an improvement. If it's run like British Rail was in the later days, not so great. I'm confident it will be a good thing for everyone.
Cast a proxy vote for both of my parents who live in Australia today. Tried to cast a proxy vote for my bro, but he just registered without applying for a proxy... Couldn't cast his ballot.
Went to vote just now. Person in front of me said to the registrars he registered yesterday and was eligible to vote. The dude could barely recite his own address, 'forgot' his postcode and said his name wrong.
I walked up to the desk in the polling station and the woman just stared at me. Good 3 seconds before I said 'what details do I need to give?'
I walked up to the desk in the polling station and the woman just stared at me. Good 3 seconds before I said 'what details do I need to give?'
most people take in their polling cards it seems, maybe they were waiting for you to show yours. they looked at me like i was scum for not having mine as they had to look through the list for my name/address rather than just the number that is shown on your polling card
I dunno whether it's just the social media echo chamber but I get a feeling this will be one of the highest % voter turnouts of recent years.
Voted (for the first time) about 30 mins ago, queue was way bigger than I expected
And so the drum roll begins
Are ya ready ya twats?
So whats the result so far
Theresa May's majority is looking as trampled as the field of wheat she abused.
Bet £10 on a hung parliament, could get £40 back from it. Democracy in action boyos. [sp]Didn't vote as i didn't feel i liked anyone this time around.[/sp]
The conservatives clearly lost a huge portion of votes from the farmers who finally realized the identity of the Wheat Field Bandit.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2017/jun/08/live-uk-election-results-in-full-2017 Easy and nice looking tracker. Northern areas are unsurprisingly starting to come up labour, though both Sunderland results so far have had a 2-3% swing to conservative.
I'm rapidly running out of Pepsi for my Bourbon. Corbyn needs to nationalise the Pepsi supplies.
no beers or mixers here, however the results so far aren't dismal enough for me to go straight to the bottle yet
I mean I have a bottle of prosecco in the fridge but that's because my exams have ended.
