Went to London a few days ago and got Goblins of Labyrinth.
Scotland has a pretty extensive rail network but trains are rarely on time, often disgustingly dirty and scheduled really poorly Which is funny because Scotrail is actually owned by a Dutch company
I live in Scotland and use Scotrail daily. The trains are usually on time for me, they're normally clean enough and the schedules aren't too bad. Then again I live in Paisley near Glasgow which has good transit links. The furthest I've been on Scotrail is the borders (Galashiels).
Fried rice, also nice. I have no idea why I shyed away from Chinese take away even as a picky eater. Maybe my parents just didn't want to pay for another meal so they told me it was all wierd stuff and vegetables... Also, even if you're nipple-crampingly hungry, don't order two dinners.
everything okay? all of your recent posts have been about chinese.
everything okay? all of your recent posts have been about chinese.
I'm just very lonely
Today is my last day at Co-op since they lied to me about lowering my hours since I'm now working a full time apprenticeship
I'm just very lonely
If you're in the West Midlands area, I will eat your Chinese for a fee

I'm guessing trains get better the closer to Glasgow or Edinburgh you are
Today is my last day at Co-op since they lied to me about lowering my hours since I'm now working a full time apprenticeship
I could argue that my old notice takes effect again so they can't fire me but I'm not sure I'd even be bothered if they fired me for not turning up
trains are decent but they're expensive as all hell i remember it used to cost £4 to get to falkirk from edinburgh, and now its something like £7 a few years later. it's ridiculous how the prices outpace inflation

£21 for an offpeak travel card from my local station to London.
UK thread V4 - fuck the railways
protip: buy a car
Maaaaaaaan chow mein is delicious, why did I not try it sooner?
If you like that find some Cha Siu Bao, godly. Day 2 of my trip to Northern Ireland, have had the full experience, Ulster Flags and IRA Graffiti. Plane got delayed, so had to spend several hours with a grumpy 70-year old, and my severely autistic and ADHD cousins are arriving within the hour, send help. No-one's eating it but me.
I just managed to get my first ever Job interview and On Job Evaluation at my local McDonalds. Its on Thursday and I'm a little nervous but I believe that I won't mess it up, hopefully.
Well I went to the interview, I was placed in the drive-thru and I think I did fine, in the interview itself I think I got along well with the Manager, we spent a good portion of the interview talking about video games when she found out I was studying Games Design at College. I left McDonalds feeling pretty good, nothing had went badly really. But I got an email last night telling me that I wasn't selected. I don't even have any feedback cause they said they couldn't due to the amount of people applying. I don't know if anyone else near me is hiring and I feel pretty bummed out but oh well, I'm sure I'll find something.
protip: buy a car
Then get fucked by rising fuel costs and insurance premium price hikes! What a world we live in...
Then get fucked by rising fuel costs and insurance premium price hikes! What a world we live in...
Rail fares are going up too...
Then get fucked by rising fuel costs and insurance premium price hikes! What a world we live in...
get a bike. It's the eventual solution to everything.
still have yet to crack into the whole learning to drive thing. shit's so fucking expensive altogether.
Been thinking about going down to the coast for a week. I've been to brighten, Hove, Hastings, Margate, Eastbourne and Bournemouth. Was thinking of going to Deal, anyone been there before or recommend a similar coastal town?
I'm starting a new job today. Only woke up 5 or 6 times last night panicking I'd overslept :v: I'm looking forward to it but also quite worried by how new all of the stuff I'm working on will be to me.
Oh fuck I have a job interview next week, send help
Then get fucked by rising fuel costs and insurance premium price hikes! What a world we live in...
news just in: things cost money
news just in: things cost money
Breaking news: Things cost more money after some idiot down the road plows his car into someone's garden and the insurance company sees it as a great time to increase premiums for everyone. [editline]17th July 2017[/editline]
Scotland has a pretty extensive rail network but trains are rarely on time, often disgustingly dirty and scheduled really poorly Which is funny because Scotrail is actually owned by a Dutch company
As someone who had to travel to Falkirk for 2 years for college (from Edinburgh) this is shockingly true. The train was either very early (like 15 minutes early) or incredibly late, which resulted in us having to wait for another train to pass before we'd continue (making the journey even longer). ..that's not even mentioning the "local wildlife" who would get on with open cans of beer, spill it on the tables/seats and walk away. It was never cleaned up either - just left there for some unlucky sod to sit on.
