Go talk to your uni / SU advice service, they're usually pretty good.
Actually a fairly common thing too, don't worry about it so much.
You don't have cell coverage on the tube? The fuck?
Yeah, but that's because some of the stations can be up to 60m below ground...pretty difficult to get coverage down there
Yeah, but that's because some of the stations can be up to 60m below ground...pretty difficult to get coverage down there
No problem back home, coverage literally anywhere. I think they put towers down there

Just to put it into perspective, that's about this far underground through solid rock

not really, all cell towers are is a wired cable telling an antenna what to transmit and receive, it would be possible, just very expensive.

For a long time I'd only ever heaed the word from my (foul mouthed) mum, but it seems that in thr last few years it's become a really common place word. To the point where it doesn't seem as brutal as when my mum say it

We certainly have nothing on Iceland, stood in the middle of nowhere, the only sign of human habitation within ~30 miles was a hydro powerstation in the river and I had perfect 4g

It really all depends on the tone of how you say "cunt". I'll admit it does slip out of my mouth more than it should but i've really had to yell it out in anger, it usually comes out in casual conversation and in a more friendly tone, it confuses Americans especially. Even still, it doesn't have that much of an impact for me anyway but i'd understand why people would be. At least i can keep it underc control with the parents, for the most part.
My special bomb for when im pissed starts with F, and its definitely ain't fuck and i really hate the sound of it... Not "fuck", i kinda like that word.
Feeling better now, horray!
Today's the day boys. Off to uni. Wish me luck, I have 3 flatmates who never contacted us over Facebook which means they're one of a) Chinese, no Facebook, B) not Chinese, still no Facebook C) have Facebook but chose not to use it or D) have facebook and didn't realise they could look for us. Hopefully D.
A friend of mine lived with Chinese students, every time I went round his they'd all be sitting silently around the kitchen table studying

I lived with some Chinese students last year and they kept boiling eggs in the kettle, which was leading to some eggy tasting tea until we figured out what was going on.
Or e) they are actually just shoving the 4 of us all over the building and we actually aren't flat mates so I might not know any of my new flat mates off Facebook and all the people I got to know and liked aren't with me :suicide:

This is why I didn't try finding mine on fb beforehand, just chill man you're going to spend all year with these people, you'll have plenty of time to get to know them
