I don't know how Southern can continue to operate as a company when it's seemingly operated behind the scenes by a group of untrained chimps.
I recently had to claim a refund on a ticket I pre-booked because (surprise surprise) the ticket machine wouldn't accept my booking reference and I didn't have time to go to the counter. Firstly, despite it being 2016, I had to post them a refund form even though I could have provided all of the information they needed in an online form. Secondly, the form has a fucking grey background with white character spaces, which probably cost me more in printer ink than what my ticket was worth. Thirdly, they sent me two identical letters on consecutive days to tell me they had received my claim and would get back to me within 28 days THREE DAYS AFTER I'd been emailed to tell me my refund had been successful and I'd receive the money back within five working days. Fortunately I did get the money back, but I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if they fucked that up as well.
And don't even get me started on the shit shows I had to be a part of trying to get home from London last month. If Southern don't lose the franchise when it comes up for renewal I'm gonna be super pissed.
To add onto this. UK here, in college we have a lession every week about "supporting british values" and this week we "learned" that you should report people to the police who look at conspiricy theories as they could be terrorists. This is some 1984-tier shit.
Reposting here since I want to hear your guys opinions because this shit is fucked.

All I can say is I'm up shit creek, all I need to drop is another "ice bullet" joke with my mate in public and I'll find myself in one of our secret courts.

Corey Taylor from slipknot is on qi
2016s a myth
Anyone had those Blind Pig ciders? I saw them in Tesco and they sound a bit suspect.
They do Whiskey and honey, bourbon & blueberry and rum & pear.
Not sure about mixing cider and spirits (unless they're ''essences'' of whiskey and bourbon and doesn't contain real whiskey & bourbon)

But what does Corey Taylor think?
prevent needs to be resisted - it's the biggest threat to free speech on uni campuses imo
Got told 4 times by 2 different people that I'm not meeting my target in packing at Amazon. Once I had a time where my productivity dropped pointed out to me, it happened to be a time where I was in a discussion with staff about how I'm not meeting my target.
This is literally like Office Space, except for the different parts. Namely I can't get away with blanking out all day. There are children in south Asian sweatshops that are allowed to work slower than you are at Amazon.

Above, what I want to say to Amazon/Adecco.

Get a job in Tesco or something, you won't have the same level of accountability and probably would be paid the same
Yeah join Tesco, get away with pretty much anything there
Especially if you join the union
I left a drink at a bar once during my first year in Uni and within an hour I couldn't walk, move my head properly or speak complete sentences. I'd only had a couple of drinks beforehand and I've never been that bad in my life.
This happened to me after downing a jagerbomb that some seemingly friendly people gave me
Had to get an ambulance after I was basically unable to walk in a straight line or look up for more than a few seconds without the world spinning out, the people in the ambulance said I was technically hypothermic :v:

If you live inside the m25 try for a job in Lidl, they pay 7.50 an hour IIRC, plus getting employee discount on Lidl stuff is golden, Lidl bread is really good.

I worked at Waitrose for 4 years, after 6 months I was given a 20% discount card (12.5% at John Lewis) Man, I was living like a fucking King.

Maybe 2 peak times at Amazon will be impressive enough on a CV, but I don't think they'll be hiring again for a while after Christmas.
