Can't be that bad, that's about the age I started going on 4chan
here is relatively intellectual by comparison
i'm 19 and i started browsing fp when i was 10

it's time to end myself boys
I first joined FP when I was 14
I'm 21 now
You know whats funny about getting old, you really don't realise it. You think to yourself, 2004 wasnt that long ago, shit's practically yesterday.
And then you think about it, 'current' bands in Franz Ferdinand and The Killers, the Xbox Brick and the first Flip Phones, the new HD games that came out like Halo 2. All of those mean nothing, but it's the removal of facepunch's 'Thanks' system.
I don't even remember when that went for a burton.
Soon i won't even remember my own name.
Franz Ferdinand and The Killers are actually great though
noone releasing bangers like they did today tbh
Oh don't get me wrong those were very much my go to bands in school but i still associate them with current when they havent been for nearly a decade, and that's quiet an eye opener, to me anyway.

it was the RDR thread that stuck me, used to post loads of gmod screenshots
now its just UK thread and photography
The weirdest thing about getting older is when you flick through facebook and realise people you went to school with look fucking old.
[editline]19th November 2016[/editline]
And when you go out everyone looks so young and it doesn't seem that long ago that was you but it's been 6-8 years. It's kinda depressing in a way. At the risk of sounding like an old fart, I get the impression it's harder for teenagers now being surrounded by technology and always being connected in ways we weren't.
It's crazy how much has changed in the last 10 or so years.

I really enjoy it, all the people I knew in school have gotten fat whereas I've gotten into proper shape since leaving school.
Technology is moving at a horrifying rate to be honest, horrifying and amazing.
You always get other young people saying " Man I wish I was young during the 80s" but tbh being young these days is one absolutely insane experience. The way the internet and social media is changing our world year by year while amazing technology like fucking unmanned cars and pocket computers emerges every so often. We get to see the internet in it's wild west years too.
Sure, the political situation across the western world is a tad shit but once it all blows over it'll just make the era even more memorable. Once we are in our like 50s or so, places like Facepunch, Something Awful, Reddit will all be long dead and things like YouTube and Facebook will be virtually unrecognizable, if still around.
I'm honestly grateful to be young now and wouldn't want to trade it for any other era.
joined when i was 12, found facepunch through youtube videos of garry's mod, signed up for the mapping subforum

Franz Ferdinands most recent album (2012 I think) was superior to AM imo
On another note, I just paid £16 for two doubles. Absolutely BTEC

On topic, I joined FP when I thought IAreLegend was a good name so
24 years old. Fucking shoot me before I waste another year.
suicide pact?
I really enjoy it, all the people I knew in school have gotten fat whereas I've gotten into proper shape since leaving school.
My old mates aren't getting fat. They are however all having kids for some reason 🤔 and it's not like people were expecting them to have them, they just suddenly had kids.
I'm still doing me, sitting around playing video games and making money. Probably one of like 5 people I have on Facebook who isn't in a relationship at all. But hey, more money for whatever I won't end up doing because I'm just too lazy.

Honestly while i love the internet i think it's a curse, having access to endless knowledge and connectivity is both great and awful at the same time.
I don't want to be connected, i don't want to be on facebook and have my life played out online so everyone can see it. But because I make the choice not to join in with it I'm constantly missiing out because everyone else is. When i was younger, you talked to people face to face and go out for a kick about up the park, that evolved into texting people to have them come round your house and play PS1 on the sofa, then that evovled to receiving messages over a console inviting you to play a game. Friends no longer want to go out because it's just easier not to.
Seeing the change thats taken place as a kid from the 80's to what we have now i really don't like where society is heading.
And too much knowledge has perosnally made me resentfull at what little i have in the world and has contributed negatively with regards to how i feel about wealth and class. Driverless cars were a fun idea back when i as a kid watching them on tommorows world but now i'm sitting here as a deliery driver angry that not only do i get paid shit, i might lose my job in 5-10 years time and there's no safety net. Just goes on and on and on.
I honestly would rather not know, but unforunately, you can't afford to not know now.
Highly negative post and depressing as fuck to read while likely being jumbled to fuck i'm sure so i apologise, at least i can shoot fools over the internet and have them call me a cunt.
Was talking to people at work about threesomes and blow jobs yesterday. Then my supervisor threw a mouldy lemon at someone.
I love my job.
I still can't get over how the internet used to be a place for outcasts and you were seen as distant to everyone else for using the internet a lot back in only like 2007-ish. Compared to now it's the other way around. Fuckin' weird (totally not bitter)

I was on the internet before it was cool :smug:
My other account got banned, I was literally 12 when I joined because I was using a shit load of mods for Gmod. Now I'm 19 lol.

i got paid to host some drop-in session for anyone interested in tech, nobody came, so we just put on some hardcore drum and bass and sang acoustic covers of 90s techno music for 4 hours
s' pretty good

Justin Bieber's most recent album was superior to AM (actually JB's has some good bangers tbf).
AM was the album that totally took me from huge fan of the band to fucking hating them.
arctic monkeys were never good
said it
kaiser chiefs were the better band
[editline]20th November 2016[/editline]
am have a boring and uninspired sound, at least kaiser chiefs have songs you can sing along to
la la la I predict a riot!
fucking miss the old kaiser chiefs, new chiefs are a bit shitty
Im like that with AM though, love brianstorm but after that I could never get into their latest album, prefer the last shadow puppets tho
Nobody no-one came if they walked past and heard that.

the drum and bass was mostly in the last half hour, the rest of it didn't have much going on, maybe music if someone turned up to DJ. But in the 5 hours before that, 3 people came.
We're basically going out it just isn't "official". But yeah, I suppose it is a bit more worrying.
We're "official" now. Man it's a good feeling to finally meet someone you actually like as a person. My ex was a fucking cunt.
My mum loves her too, so that's a plus.
