There's a petition you can sign now which is asking to prevent an official state visit for Trump. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/171928
it was a strong 6 to a light 7 bit too soppy and overproduced lacked the grit of the original [editline]29th January 2017[/editline] this is from the [sp]scene when mark and simon do heroin again?[/sp]
I mean they couldn't really replicate the original, this particular film is definitely different from the original, both in filmography and general mood; it's more of a nostalgia-fest and about people looking back on their lives, rather than following 4 ex-heroin addicts. I still think it's a great film but it's definitely in a much different style to the previous film. And yeah, from there. It's also quietly brought up at other points in the film, and because of how glitchy it sounds, it fits in perfectly well with the scenes. The chords of the intro part were played at quite a few parts with Spud in the first half of the film. That particular song means a lot to me anyhow ( before hearing it / seeing it in the original trainspotting ) so brought up loads of emotions
it was defo a "what are you all up to 20 years later?" over 2 hours and i was perfectly okay with that [editline]29th January 2017[/editline] also i signed up to a gym today since it's £10/mo, excited to actually do something that isn't lying in bed all day
also i signed up to a gym today since it's £10/mo, excited to actually do something that isn't lying in bed all day
I gotta do this as well actually. Don't know how much it will be round here.
According to my dad I am a "Dweeb" for having a couple of my old Star Wars Figures on display, and this isn't even in jest. I'm not really sure what to say.

I'm not trying to come off as a victim, I just thought it was fucking hilarious, a 47 year old banker calling someone a dweeb.
So not only do I have a 9am lecture on a different campus to normal every Monday, but my 5pm on Friday is from the head of the course so "he'll care a lot about attendance"
I'm meant to be going down Southampton today, flying down at 10, flying back at 4. My first flights been delayed till 12:15. So it looks likely my day is just going on a plane for fun
When you're lecturer is using colour coding... In red and green... And you have a load of red/green colour blind people...
just rang my bank to tell them that i have changed address. had to add that a new card has been sent to my old address and that they would have to cancel it. man on the phone did not sound particularly pleased, need to head into city tomorrow and get my address changed in person. going to be one awkward conversation considering i moved 6 months ago and really should've already had this done [editline]30th January 2017[/editline] i'm also pretty sure i need to get the address changed on my drivers licence, but i tried to log into the dvla stuff and you've got like 2 password attempts before they lock you out and you have to answer security questions. it doesn't even tell you what the questions are, just "Answer 1: Answer 2:" how the fuck am i supposed to know? this is from back when i first got a provisional maybe 4 years ago, do they really expect people to know exactly what security questions/answers they made and in what order?? i don't drive currently however so this isn't as much of an issue, i think driving with the wrong address can net you a fine
I didn't even know I had a login for dvla or do I need to create one?
I didn't even know I had a login for dvla or do I need to create one?
do you have a government gateway ID? it uses that to login, pretty sure you need one for national insurance/tax purposes

Had no issue with them. I needed to change the address so I'd get accepted for a credit card. My drivers licence is still on my mums adress
me n doozle too raw for these laws f the police [sp]i'm looking for the form/tear off to update my licence as we speak[/sp] another spanner in the works, my dad is buying an old moped off me to use as a paddock bike at his races - the v5c has my old address on it, i probs have to send off for a new one of those too with an updated address before selling it. i guess i'm never moving house again this is too much effort
Just got a letter basically saying "do you want to combine your old pension with your current pension contributions?" Yes you fucking incompetent bastards, I signed that form a year ago and you're only just getting round to sorting it out?! Sorry, just a bit pissed off right now.

I've always kept the V5 up to date, but otherwise I was never organised. I suppose this should be the year I finally change it, but I'm probably going to move again in 6 months. And this has all reminded I need to pay my road tax tomorrow. £163 for 6 months, that's criminal [editline]30th January 2017[/editline] And Hezzy if you're lurking, would it be okay for someone to shoplift if the item they steal is a book by Donald Trump and you don't want to give that turd man your money. I was standing in Smiths over The Art of the Deal and I've never stolen in my life or felt the need to steal (i never had that phase as a kid but knew people who did) but right then I genuinely thought about it. I didn't mostly because explaining to my boss that I missed the flight for stealing a book would've been tough, but it would've been so easy.
"good that Trump is stopping those(immigrants) from coming, if only May could be this effective, this country is being invaded by Muslims refugees like it's the D.Day landings." - my Nan WHO WAS AN : ILLEGAL ITALIAN IMMIGRANT WHO ARRIVED BY SHIP :why:
