Maybe it depends how into birthdays you are. I've never made a deal out birthdays, it's just another day. As someone who hates being center of attention it actually stresses me out when people ask "what you doing/want for your birthday" and I'm like I just wanna chill or whatever but you've GOT to have fun because its your birthday. That pretense that I must celebrate and have "fun" cos its my birthday. Some people you know its their birthday weeks in advance cos they won't stop going on about it [editline]10th February 2017[/editline] Im a boring cunt though [editline]10th February 2017[/editline] I think I've worked ever birthday since I was 17
Yeah but even a "happy birthday" is something. I have fuss on birthdays too but I'd be sad if I didn't atleast get a happy birthday
UK sucks Stay in NZ and find some hot chicks
I'm melting in this heat and I hate time zones
How long have you been there?
How come you've got nothing else to keep you there? Surely you've made some connections over the 11 years and how are you not used to the weather yet haha
i thought you knew that brits always love to complain about the weather lad
Old bants I found from Camp FP
It's a funny day when your own girlfriend doesn't realise it's your birthday :v:
Happy Birthday :(. She probably just has other things on her mind.
I hate hot weather and no everything I built up is now gone due to a lot of family issues and events. I really don't have anything going for me once I'm done with uni.
Move back here then dood. No point staying too if you can't get used to the weather.
It's snowing here so I am permanantly erect.
I don't get BT. My infinity line was great for ages and now they think they can just put us down to 5 down and 0.4 up without me noticing. Keep in mind we're paying for Infinty 1
Please tell me that's MB/s and not Mbps else I'm getting better than you with copper broadband [editline]11th February 2017[/editline] Everyone come to my Co-op they sell Freddo's for 25p
Please tell me that's MB/s and not Mbps else I'm getting better than you with copper broadband [editline]11th February 2017[/editline] Everyone come to my Co-op they sell Freddo's for 25p
I remember when they were 10p.
Does anyone here have any experience using powerline adapters? I'm thinking about buying a pair in hopes that it might make my Somalian McDonalds Wi-Fi at least a bit more reliable.
they do work
I have powerline adapters. I am paying for 70Mb fibre, used to get around 25-30 over wifi and ping spikes in games a bit. Got my powerline adapters and started getting what I was paying for. They're a bit more expensive but I got ones that still let you plug things into the wall for power as well as using the adapter. Totally worth it imo but I hear it also depends on the wiring in your building but you'll never know if you don't try them.
I actually get roughly what I pay for, 50mbps down and 9 up
What ever happened to that channel4 show Eden?
Does anyone here have any experience using powerline adapters? Still not as good in comparison to proper Ethernet but gets the job done. If your internal wiring isn't very good you won't see much benefit (I get 2-3ms ping to my router). my wifi was wank, i just assumed it was the connection from bt but plugged a laptop directly into the router once and realised it was a million times faster bought some cheapy powerline adapaters on amazon and get the full speed all of the time now. they work great. always heard horror stories about them but they work perfectly for me. i get the full speed i should be getting and there's never any lag spike problems with them. 75 down and 20 up, pretty nice tbh [editline]11th February 2017[/editline] i do live in a 2 or 3 year old apartment building though so the electrics are all new, the quality of the wiring in your house might make a big difference

Uni is great for internet, in labs I can install csgo (which I'm allowed to do) in 1 minute(ish). 80+MB/s down :v: I get about 650mbps in halls as well, but my hdd limits it :( [editline]11th February 2017[/editline] As for powerline adapters I use one at home and for me it's somewhere in the middle of ethernet and wifi (closer to ethernet).
so wait was camp FP happening
When your mate who regularly can't come to social gatherings because of Christian union and makes brownies for the group comes out with "I should listen to more grime" and "I love kanye because he mixes well" I am still not over it lol. Obviously whatever she likes but it's just so weird having it come from her.
I spent £30 on pizzas and ice cream and fuck I regret it so much [editline]11th February 2017[/editline] The pizza won't fit in the fridge

My flat is like 80 years old and the walls seem to obstruct the wifi signal massively.
Going to Preston College to do Graphics Design after AS levels
so wait was camp FP happening
I am looking into it
Am I wrong in thinking it's a bit weird going on holiday with my girlfriends parents. I haven't been on holiday with my own since I was 13. It's Turkey too, they had an attempted coup last year and arrest journalists and shit. Swear down almost every argument we have is to do with her parents

It means that her parents like you, just think about how much it'll cost them. I certainly wouldn't spend a % of my income on taking my daughter's boyfriend with us on holiday unless I really liked him. The touristy parts of Turkey aren't really affected by the drama over there, don't worry about it. It's a nice opportunity to go somewhere new and see some sights!

Start Running! I don't think it's that weird, I know someone who went with his mate and his parents on holiday, granted he was still a teenager but it's not that strange.
