800 quid is enough for one that can max out both of them tbh, mine can run both on medium at about 40fps and cost about 500quid 3 years ago. As long as he gets an i5 + a good GPU rather than bottlenecking. I wouldn't be too obsessed over definitely having to max it out though, as long as you get good fps
I kinda like having 90+ fps on my laptop, but it depends what fps you want. If I were happy with 30-40 (and death near smokes) I could max it but with cs higher fps is important
an obviously overused and shitty question, but i'm traveling to london in exactly 1 month and what's some stuff we can do that's not on the top of tripadvisor and tourist lists? like interesting shops or cool quarters
and where do pop my fish n chips cherry?

Not a place to go, but a place not to go - don't go to east london, man. Also don't fuck about with the Queen's Guards or they will shish kebab your ass.

East London is fine nowadays, do you live here? London is a safe city pretty much everywhere as long as you're sensible

British Museum if you like stuff like that is a place you need to go to
I have most museums and recommended things on my list, it's more about finding cool stuff that's usually not promoted everywhere.
Like shops with cheap shit in them or Chinatown etc

there's a dark alley filled with puppies and ice cream that i know. come at night. bring all your money. tell no-one or the puppies will get scared.
i work in a nightclub and we reject anyone without a driving licence or passport - just stump up the £50, it's only a couple of rounds of drinks, valid for 10 years and means you can drive a car

Camden Market is good for cheap shit and unusual stuff, get the tube to Camden town.
If you're into guitars, Denmark Street/Tinpan Alley is fantastic and it's literally just around the corner from Tottenham Court Road station I think.
If you have money to burn you can spend £30 to go to the top of the Shard and look at the city.
Forbidden Planet is a fantastic comics/collectibles shop, sells all sorts of video game/comics/TV show memorabilia. It's on Shaftesbury Avenue, a short walk from Denmark Street.

What the fuck else kinds of ID do people try and get in with exactly? Because a driving license or passport are literally the only things I can think of that work, and having no ID at all is pretty much a guaranteed rejection at most bars, pubs and clubs after a certain time of day.

young scot, citizencard, anything witha pass on it they're easy to forge
What the fuck was that boxing decision? Don't box, or watch much boxing - but Yoka ran away for the entire first round and last round, was flat footed and got punched to death. Still wins.

I'm from SE london, theres nothing bad about it that cannot be said for everywhere else in the country.
Don't be a prick, Stick to populated areas especially if you go out at night and keep an eye on your belongings.
Do that and it's absolutely fine.

It's alright if you know what you're doing - but I once had some German/Frenchie mates over for the week in the UK, and when I let them go for a walk they came back without their wallets, their phones or their watches. I don't doubt that Giraffe knows what to do, i'm more worried about his family/friends. It's easier just to stick to the more posh tourist-y places.
It should be pretty obvious to anyone from any city in the world that 'don't wander around aimlessly into dark back alleys and sketchy council estates' is advice that you should follow wherever you are. If you avoid doing that, it's mostly just bad luck if you're a victim of a crime. It happens, but London is safe.

Mate East London is home to the Olympic Park and The Tower of London. 2 of the biggest tourest attractions i can name in London off the top of my head. Hackney Empire too if they have something on. It is no more dangerous than anywhere else if you stick to the populated areas as you're suppose to.
my idea of east London is based solely off what I've seen on Luther so prior to this I thought it was a fucking hellhole
just saw aunty Donna @ the fringe.
Absolutely fookin hilarious, was crying with laughter for a dangerously long amount of time. Would recommend it to anyone up here the now
How does one avoid having eight cheese graters and eight kitchen knives per kitchen at uni
How does one avoid having eight cheese graters and eight kitchen knives per kitchen at uni
Buy one 8-sided cheese grater and a 8-bladed knife.

Most people are inept and will forget stuff like cheese graters or can openers. Back when I was in halls, I think we only had 2 can openers.
I've been looking at the events my uni has planned for the first few weeks. So far I'm limited to lacrosse taster sessions and joining the Otaku club

I may come back as the most athletic anime fan you've ever seen [sp]not much competition[/sp]

That's a fairly limited repertoire, is that of your own choice or does your uni have not too much for fresher's?
I was just giving some examples laddo, there's a few more things but they're mostly sports or anime/cosplay related for the first few weeks
Universities see the results about a fortnight before you do IIRC
I was told it was a day - bearing in mind some still ask you to send them in (luddites).
