It would have been [I]MUCH[/I] easier just using:
[CODE]<input type="number" name="PhoneNo" min="0" max="9999" >[/CODE]
The above won't work in I.E 9 however, but that's a very small amount of users (as it doesn't like HTML5 which is what this is).
It'll automatically allow you to either manually type in a number, or can use the arrows to increment/decrement it (also brings up the numpad on phones!). Set the max to whatever you want (can play with it [URL="http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_input_number"]here[/URL]).
