I think that's more of a case of stuttering than bad articulation or formulation.
How is slang or the way of speaking a show of mental capability or intelligence, she uses a word that she's grown to use a lot in her speech, and that happens for every slang word.
Again. How the fuck is talking like you'd have a brain damage a slang? Do you even know what slang is? And no, repeating over and over one word doesn't happen with every slang word.
Slang is when you give something another name. For instance calling metamphetamine "ice". Not being able to talk fluently and repeating one word again and again that doesn't even have any meaning, that could be replaced with "uhm", is no slang. It's just talking like you have TMA or something similar.

He reminded me of an old comedian who passed away a long time ago. His joke was that he was would read stories but whenever a number would come up he would say the number above it instead. So instead of saying wonderful, he'd say twoderful. I can't remember his name though and it's bugging me :(
Found it!

Saying like is part of the culture's language, it is part of their slang, " A type of language that consists of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal, are more common in speech than writing, and are typically restricted to a particular context or group of people" it does not solely mean "a word replaced with another word", it is...well, any word or phrase that is very informal that is used in speech. Using the word like is very informal and used in speech. It is slang. Talking a certain way does not make you stupid, it just means that you grew up around people saying that word, got into the habit of using it, and won't grow out of it for awhile. She's 13, she's immature, she's not retarded because part of her language consists of a certain word
In other words, why the fuck are you calling a 13 year old mentally disabled, stay classy dude.

The "likes" doesn't mean anything, it's just the way she talks. Talking in a certain way isn't slang. Are you telling me that having a certain accent is a slang? Is saying "uhm" a lot slang too? Maybe stuttering is a slang too? I mean it is informal and used in speech isn't it?
Talking a certain way does not make you stupid,
No, talking in a certain way doesn't make you stupid. But if you are stupid you are going to talk in a certain way, corresponding with your brain capacity. I mean, this is common knowledge.
it just means that you grew up around people saying that word, got into the habit of using it, and won't grow out of it for awhile. She's 13, she's immature, she's not retarded because part of her language consists of a certain word
Where did I say that solely because she says "like" it means she's retarded? The entire way she speaks makes me think that she has problems with speaking, which could hint to some other things I've mentioned.
In other words, why the fuck are you calling a 13 year old mentally disabled, stay classy dude.
You have no reading comprehension. I've never said "she's mentally disabled" I said "she talks like she's mentally disabled". Stay incoherent... dude.
