we also were not born with wings and yet we fly
But we're born with the mental capacity to know how to fly.
Its like a mouse taking a ride on the back of an Eagle. The mouse isn't technically flying. It's just riding something that is. It would then be eaten once the Eagle realized what was going on.
Its like a mouse taking a ride on the back of an Eagle. The mouse isn't technically flying. It's just riding something that is. It would then be eaten once the Eagle realized what was going on.
On a more positive note, planes don't eat us.
On a more positive note, planes don't eat us.
They kinda do. People stopped riding on the outside of planes a long time ago. Now we ride inside them. And they should eat us. That would be funny. (Isn't that how planes functioned in the Flintstones? Some massively over sized pterodactyl ate all the passengers, who then walked back out of the mouth after arrival.)
but they control the eagle
Okay, let me know when you can prove that a mouse on an eagles back can control the eagle.
Okay, let me know when you can prove that a mouse on an eagles back can control the eagle.
im saying it would be like if they could control it
I seriously doubt you're even partially aware of what you are saying.
im saying it would be like if they could control it
But we can control an airplane that's carrying us, because we have evolved and adapted to create airplanes, and train pilots to use the airplanes, thus allowing us to fly.
But we can control an airplane that's carrying us, because we have evolved and adapted to create airplanes, and train pilots to use the airplanes, thus allowing us to fly.
that was my point
that was my point
Your point was that humans do not grow wings, yet we can fly, my point is that although we have not physically adapted to fly, we have adapted mentally to create machines that allow us to fly.
Don't worry, research is underway to terraform a planet nearby.
Your point was that humans do not grow wings, yet we can fly, my point is that although we have not physically adapted to fly, we have adapted mentally to create machines that allow us to fly.
we can also use things that aren't really machines to allow us to fly, look at hang gliders.
we can also use things that aren't really machines to allow us to fly, look at hang gliders.
Still a machine. Basic physics teaches you that.
As long as we do not make a nano machine that enhances peoples ability to reproduce like octo mom. @_@ Expansible if the ability becomes evolutionarily exponential X_X... queen humans acting like alien or ant queens just ew.
*Nods* I agree hard. We are WAY too populated.
We are NOT overpopulated.
I'm really hoping that in the next 40 years prosthetics are good enough that I can get a robot arm
Awww, Now I feel sad knowing I will die before the next century. Firstly we need to discover what exactly happens while we age, or just splice human DNA with Sea turtle or some animal that lives for ages and see the results.
I'm really hoping that in the next 40 years prosthetics are good enough that I can get a robot arm
We'll soon probably be robots ourselves.
I don't like the idea
So they should stop because you don't like the idea?
Chances are most people born in the 80s-90s will live to be over 100 due to improved living conditions. hundreds of years ago life expectancy was only to 30-40 for the average person.
I read somewhere that humans can only live up to 125 years of age, as the oxygen we breath actually kills us. It's a slow process but I guess it just keeps going through you until you get poisoning or something, which takes about 125 years I guess. I'm not sure if this is true, though.
Ummm, No. Human cells and that of most organisms on this planet have evolved to have aerobic respiration. Yes oxygen is a destructive element, especially to non-organic substances and anaerobic organisms but our aerobic cells have evolved to be essentially what you could call as almost "immune"(not really immune to oxygen, but in small doses or mixed with other gasses its not harmful) to oxygen and actually use its destructive nature in the creation of ATP which is required for cellular energy. Oxygen is not deadly to us through breathing of regular atmospheric air, though it is deadly if you were smart :downs: enough to inject it into your blood stream or breath pure oxygen for days.
That has more to do with it's culture. It's not. There are humans that have lived past 130. The odds of surviving that long are extremely small, but growing.
No there aren't the oldest verified human ever was 122 years and 164 days old. Sure there are old people who claim they are 160 years old but I think we all know what the truth is. Even when the average lifespan is growing, there's a limit for humans. I bet we will be seeing lots of 110 year olds in the future, and maybe a few will get past 130 years but not much older. Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ageing.
Chances are most people born in the 80s-90s will live to be over 100 due to improved living conditions.
Well, according to some studies over half of the people born after millennium will live over 100 years. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/WellnessNews/half-todays-babies-expected-live-past-100/story?id=8724273
So, after all this development of intellect and progress, you want us to say "wait a minute, lets not try and extend the one and only life you're given" Believe me, the earth will be around a vast amount of time more than us.
first off this is not me who come with this conclusion it was a study done 65 months ago and is excepted by science so im right with that one no matter what you say so to add i aint playing mental jump rope so it seems like its you that is doing that
Oh hey, a small bunch of scientists did a study. There is absolutely no way they could be wrong. :downs: Science doesn't create facts. Science creates theories. Science has proven it's own studies wrong over and over and over and over and over and over again. There is no such thing as facts in science, only theories. Another thing is that not every scientist on earth did that study. There are thousands, if not millions of scientists out there, what 20 scientists says has little to say in the big picture. It is when they are backed up by many many other scientist up in numbers of thousands that they might be right.
Birth control via drugs, condoms and policies requiring only one child per family. Done.
I love how you were rated dumb, yet you're completely 100% correct.
According to the mayans, we're all dead in 2 years.
