You are damned by our lord and will burn for all eternity, that is all.
well ok
edit
also with the no money thing i said before lets say we were able to make things so abundant that it would cost nothing, we dont pay for air because theres so much of it, now lets say we can do that for everything else.
OP is a retard and has never heard of space travel or arcologies or anything like that.

Well, you do seem to be a die-hard christian so I guess you were serious about us being a threat to earth.
Which is also damn stupid because the earth can tolerate anything that doesn't include blowing it up with explosives from the core. Which would be impossible with our technology.
The earth will never ever be in danger or threatened by humankind. The earth doesn't count years like we do. If we blow it all to hell and destroy all plants and animals and then starve to death it will be a wasteland for some thousand, maybe hundreds of thousands years, but eventually new life will bloom and everything will be a-ok, new animals and everything coming to existence.
Humanity is only a threat to humanity and the current living animals on the earth, not a threat to the earth itself.
Humans are also created to be able to live for some 2000 years thanks to renewal of our cells, it's just that we have such a high possibility to get cancer that it stops before the threat is too big, so we die much much earlier than we need to. But with good technology we can keep the process going for a long time whilst protecting ourselves from cancer and all other sorts of diseases, without any problems for humans, animals or wildlife. The threat to nature is rather our electricity and transport fuels which will be forced to improve and be more or less harmless over time anyways.
Also you need to rethink your logic a bit if I was right in that being the serious part. Because we are also a part of "God's beautiful creation", says so right from the start.
unless we make a suppresion field (Like in hl2) which stops births.
That's impossible.
The key is finding new ways to extend good years of life as opposed to extent the amount of time you can live in the hospital. That second kind of research is one of the reasons many countries are having money problems.
OP is right. We are not ready to fuck with the human lifespan. Also living for 200 years would suck. Our resources would decrease twice as fast, and overpopulation would explode.
I don't like the idea of scientists conducting research into how to extend the human lifespan with molecular nanotechnology and crap.
There's a biological cap on human years for a reason. There's just no way the planet could cope with people living to 200 years of age or more. Food, water and oil are already precious resources, I wouldn't want to imagine how expensive they'd be in an inevitable population explosion.
Unless we start colonizing space, which doesn't seem like it will be happening any time soon, where the hell would you put all these people?
Overpopulation is a myth, our population is fine and it'll level out soon.
That's impossible.
magical magnetic fields toying with your ballsack maaaaaaaaaaan

thats why we have science
Overpopulation is a myth, our population is fine and it'll level out soon.
That's also a thing.
People are so high on humans "not being animals" that they forget that even we follow the rule of "Sustainable development".
There is no such thing as overpopulation, at least not over a long time. We will grow and grow until we reach our limit (which we are FAR AWAY FROM) and then we will stay there or decrease a lot and then rise again and fall and rise and fall and rise.
But of we can live for 200 years, we CAN go into deep space and colonize other planets or even find new species.
That's also a thing.

well heres the thing the more people there is the worse life is for everyone on earth not just humans
Eat fruits and vegetables, and exercise.
Use these basics well, and you will prosper.
Most people in the third world will probably die in huge famines and natural disasters due to climate change. Which is a shame really. All that potential just to go to waste. And not to mention the untold millions which will be affected everywhere else.
If not for the fact that there's a monetary system in place we'd be doing much, much better. Just automate everything and progress! The tech's been here for like, over 2 decades...

i didnt think there would be anyone from the venus project here
well heres the thing the more people there is the worse life is for everyone on earth not just humans
Not at all.
Under out current circumstances thanks to shitty capitalism, bad technology, shitty energy sources and all that, yes. In the future? I don't think so. With the future I'm not talking the next 50 years, but next 2-500 years.
100 years is not a long time at all.
Stop watching zeitgeist.
i didnt see anything wrong with the movies i think it posses good questions and gives even better answers
I don't think overpopulation will be a problem even if people live to be 200 years old.
Stop watching zeitgeist.
The first one kinda sucks, my favorite is Addendum.
It's totally correct, and people who don't agree are just puppets conditioned by the system to reject the idea of a civillized, scientific and sane society.
Like the concept of money; money is essentially worthless. Everything has no price. It's just sitting there, waiting to be utilized.
Resources could be used to eliminate all of the world's problems in some way or another, and always beneficial to everybody.
Just gotta replace the flawed human governments with a cybernated network of production and distribution and voila! Everything's much better. Not a utopia, because people are still gonna argue, but about much more personal things, so it'd be much more peaceful and people wouldn't just die or be terribly disadvantaged because of how crap the system is.

The other post was the serious one.
Or maybe your argument was so persuasive that I have just decided to cast off our lord and savior Jesus Christ and embrace Atheism.
ALL HAIL SCIENCE.
Zeitgeist is just a load of conspiracy bullshit that takes what few facts they managed to conjure and bullshit their way into making idiots believe it. If you believe it then you should consult a doctor.

If everything was automated. How would people have jobs?

We are in a civilized, scientific and sane society. What the Venus Project promises is just a load of communist rubbish that doesn't take into account the fact that humans are greedy.

we are talking about addendum
If everything was automated. How would people have jobs?
They wouldn't really need jobs, to be honest. They'd just ask and have stuff given to them.
We are in a civilized, scientific and sane society. What the Venus Project promises is just a load of communist rubbish that doesn't take into account the fact that humans are greedy.
Communism? LOL.
Communism is yet another product of the monetary system.
Seriously, the main reason a lot of people are greedy is because of the system in the first place. It's a big dick waving contest, and it's about time we transcended it as a species.
The technology to do it is there. You've been made into believing (faith proves nothing- remember) that it's impossible in a clear violation of reality.
If everything was automated. How would people have jobs?
thats what robots are for

and you know nothing of environmental conditioning
It's not. There are humans that have lived past 130. The odds of surviving that long are extremely small, but growing.
Uhm no that's not true, the oldest human being lived to 122 years
Communism? LOL.

By your logic of Communism being a product of the monetary system, Addendum is a product of the monetary system.
