I just wanna say that if you have a vape take these precautions, because they can really stink a room up, you don't have to worry about smoke but you should still keep a window open and a fan on. I'm not sure if you need to towel the door up but I'd do it just to be safe.

(to my initial surprise) I wonder though, does keeping the temperatures low enough prevent this? Like low enough not to vape the CBD's, then would you smell it? I've got a magic flight launch box myself, but I haven't gotten around to asking somebody to sniff for me. As for a tip, a room with at least two windows helps a lot. Gotta have dat circulation.

I don't know if anyone said this yet, but a good stealthy stoner always washes they're stinky stealthy stoner pot hand's off with soap. Pushing down bowls and breaking up the pots will you always ensure you are a stinky hippy if you don't wash 'em hands.

For immediately after smoking and using a candle or fabreeze, either its going to smell like both, or too much of the odor intended to cover up, both are suspicious unless it always smells like candles or whatever.

And If you even read past the first two sentences I stated that it's just always a better idea to leave the house if you don't wish to get caught by anyone you know, or really anyone if you aren't too stupid or high to find a good place to smoke. My post was more steered toward the ideology that if you smoke weed, and smoke it often enough, people will just find out/ know.

You're probably somewhat right, but it's not impossible to get away with smoking at home and this discussion is necessary so that we may come up with good ideas on how to pull it off.

when i was in london i bought a little metal pipe because novelty after i got it back to murrica i used it as my travel piece, smoking from it with friends little did i know it was the perfect ninja smoke-at-home piece this is what i does 1) light a scented candle 2) open your bathroom window, preferably; i have what used to be the master bedroom, so i get my own private bathroom. if you don't, just use your own bedroom window 3) use your lit candle to silently light your lighter, then spark your bowl 4) [here's where the metal pipe shines] take your hit, then cover the bowl with a quarter. if your pipe is glass, the bowl might be too big or too oddly shaped to cover with a quarter. experiment; the idea is to stop the residual smoke from rising out of the bowl and scenting your (bath)room 5) blow through a toilet paper tube stuffed with dryer sheets out the window (OPTIONAL STEP 6) wait 15-20 minutes for the smoke to dissipate before hitting it again
