This is incredible, but theres a guy on my corner who does things like this. He regularly carves totem poles and sells them for Thousands of dollars.
The guy is supposed to be around 60 years old or something.

There are actually competitions like this.
I remember one challenge was to take turns to chainsaw through a stump mid-height until it falls over. The person who breaks it loses. It ended up breaking when the middle was size of a fucking toothpick.
