Oh boy here we go
"I can't refute a point, so I will use ad hominems!"
So all people the are coming from Mexico (sorry, being specifically sent on a mission by Mexico) are rapists. Still a massive generalization and a bigoted one at that.
To an extent, this is true. Most whites don't live in ghettos or in poor areas. A disproportional amount of blacks live in poverty and in ghettos than whites do.
"YOU DISAGREED WITH ME SO YOU'RE A CHILD!!1!!"
It's not an ad hominem, I suggest you look up what those actually are.
Trump said the people that Mexico is sending are not their best, they are rapists and murderers. Which is true, a lot of states near the border have illegal immigrants count for 30% of murders. Don't tell me that's their best people.
He never said most whites, he said whites don't know what it's like to be poor or live in a ghetto. That's totally false. There are poor white people and there are whites living in ghettos.
If you have to make shit up to pretend you're right, it looks childish.
I don't care that he even said this. Because I don't care about political correctness and I'm not worried about a guy who thinks poor white people don't exist becoming president or even getting the nomination.
Wow, what a dumb dumb dumb cunty ass thing for someone who's so hell bent on getting rid of poverty to say.
It's a shame Jim Webb dropped out and if Hillary drops out, the only democratic candidate we would have is this blundering fuck.
I honestly think he misspoke and intended to say it differently, but that's what came out and now everyone is talking about this.
Naw we have to have a big conversation about whether or not the guy who's been ranting about income inequality for years knows about white poverty.
I honestly think he misspoke and intended to say it differently, but that's what came out and now everyone is talking about this.
I think it came out exactly like he wanted it to. He's fishing for votes just like all other politicians.
He isn't wrong but he isn't right.
White poor can face devastating circumstances when in poverty, but that gets amplified when you're black and living in some of the worst districts of the country considering the history of our nation and racism that still haunts us and that they get no attention as everything that is at the front of our minds is dictated by what we see on TV media.
It's a double edged sword that cuts both ways because when someone hears 'ghetto' they are more likely to think black neighborhoods and that is what poverty is in their minds, but when someone says they're poor and white nobody really expects the same thing.
desperate attempt go get that black vote

It literally is an ad hominem, you attacked the person rather than their argument by calling them an idiot lol
Also, again, Trump said all people crossing the border are rapists and murderers which is SIMPLY NOT TRUE. If you believe in this so much, go up to a poor family that crossed the border and say that to their faces.
And in regards to
If you have to make shit up to pretend you're right, it looks childish.
He wasn't making shit up. He was calling you out on your hypocrisy which is very blatant
I hate that fucking argument so much. "You don't know what it's like to be A, you don't know what it's like to have to deal with B." Maybe I do, maybe I don't, but making a statement like that doesn't change, or improve anything. It just sets back sociology another sixty years and segregating people into tribalistic tendencies.

"All"?
When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
Let us step back... ever been the one white guy strolling through a black ghetto or vise versa... haunting.
Sanders has clarified what he meant
"What I meant to say, is when you talk about ghettos, traditionally what you’re talking about is African-American communities."
http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/bernie-sanders-ghetto-gaffe-highlights-campaigns-struggle-race
The fact that people are crying about this is appalling. I genuinely hope that people aren't dropping their vote because of this statement.

That's the quote, I suggest you read it again.
This is a good read (even with a nice video, since I know you're not big on reading) http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2015/08/08/illegal-alien-crime-accounts-for-over-30-of-murders-in-some-states/

I don't believe him, he got caught saying what he actually thinks and he's trying to backpedal.
Bernie said a bad thing, get over it.
And that is my message. Telling people to get over it. Bernie made a mistake and people are crying for legitimately no reason.
It was a clumsy answer to a stupid question. It's obvious that in context he was referring to black ghettos, not trying to say that white people don't know what it's like to be poor. He has repeatedly talked about being poor and income inequality is his biggest issue.

What is the criteria for a backpedal?

Considering he himself grew up poor as a white person, don't you think it's more likely he used poor choice of words trying to appeal to black voters rather than actually believing no white person has ever experienced a ghetto?

He shit on most of his supporters to try to get the black vote, which is already lost to Clinton.

The blood coming out of her wherever is like arguing about if Trump's hair is real or not, totally pointless. It's funny though.
The supposed backpedal thing was discussed in a previous thread, you should read beyond the headlines. The only quote they have is him saying he would not ask someone to break the law.

Lmao you trump supporters will find anything to use to defend your lord and infallible savior
He first said he wants waterboarding and worse, then he says he will not order our troops to carry out waterboarding/torture
Republican front-runner Donald Trump said Friday that he would not order the U.S. military to violate international laws to fight terrorism, a stark reversal from his statements at Thursday's Republican debate.

Trump said in a statement that he understands "that the United States is bound by laws and treaties" and said he would "not order our military or other officials to violate those laws and will seek their advice on such matters."
He added, "I will not order a military officer to disobey the law. It is clear that as president I will be bound by laws just like all Americans and I will meet those responsibilities."
The statement was first reported in The Wall Street Journal.
His position seems to have shifted dramatically in less than 24 hours.
And now he's flip flopped into "we must beat the savages" again
nice

You really seem to have a problem with reading comprehension. Look at the thread I linked, it's been discussed. I don't need to tell you guys that you're wrong in this thread too.
If you want to discuss this outside of the relevant thread add me on Steam or something.
It's cute how you guys are trying to change the subject since Bernie said something racist.

If you would remove your orange-tinted glasses you would see that that whole comment is one of many comments showing how Trump takes things seriously, especially women. If Bernie Sanders made fun of Trump's hair then you would most definately be up in arms about how serious he is taking the candidacy.

And if you bothered to read the articles AT ALL that I gave you, you would've noticed that it covers the issue better than that thread (Which I have no clue why it's needed in this discussion)
Asked during the debate what he would do if the US military refused to carry out such orders, Trump said, "They won't refuse. They're not going to refuse me. Believe me.

It's also cute that you want to attack bernie becasue he stands for everyone that opposes trump. Also it clearly is stated that he flip flopped on the waterboarding. You're a hypocrite and I have nothing more to say to you

I knew you couldn't handle talking one on one. I'm not attacking Bernie, I think it's funny that he said something racist and you guys are spazzing out. I'll attack his policies and stances any day though.
It's funny how you literally are unable to handle someone disagreeing with you, you leave a message on my profile and block me. Someday you'll see the benefit in hearing other people's opinions instead of living in your echo-chamber.

There's that buzzword. Bernie is the buzzword, he literally thinks only blacks know what it's like to be in a ghetto and whites aren't poor. He's a delusional old man.
He isn't wrong but he isn't right.

When you say "amplified when black" are we discounting just plain racial tension among community members? Why is it not the case when your white? For example, a poor white person living in a majority black community will not receive amplified circumstances against his fellow community members? Not saying your wrong, I just wasn't sure if this was properly addressed.

I brought those points up because they're evidence of trump backpedaling, but you do not think he's backpedaling.
Honestly I'm here because I want these two questions answered, and two follow up questions answered depending on your response.
"What constitutes as backpedaling?"
"Why does Trump get a free pass when he backpedals, but when Bernie Sanders backpedals it's a problem?"
And you're a delusional racist bigot, how does that sound
You're really resorting to name calling? With no proof? You're funny, I know there are Bernie people that don't have to resort to childish name calling. You're making your candidate (which I would be shocked if you're old enough to vote, by the way) and your fellow supporters look dumb.
